In a recent Twitch Q&A, a famous Canadian video game journalist, who also happens to be the host of Summer Game Fest, ruled out the possibility of some games being featured in this event. In this session, Keighley confirmed that the show will be mainly focused on pre-existing games rather than upcoming titles.

He also stated that this year’s SGF won’t haveMetal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. This is a massive blow forMetal Gear Solidfans, as the anticipation regarding the game is huge right now. Also, this game is going to be probably the biggest game of the decade. So, everyone expected some sort of update regarding game in this long-hailed event.
Metal Gear Solid Delta May Not Be the Only MGS Remake in Development
However, according to famous leaker Billbil-Kun, we might get an update on the release date ofMetal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, possibly on June 05, 2025, one day before the Summer Game Fest.

However,Monster Hunter Wilds,Kingdom Come 2: Deliverance, andMetaphor: Refantaziowere not mentioned by the host. So, we might count on the upcoming event for these titles.
