With the launch of theGenshin Impact Version 2.4Private Beta Test, new Dendro related leaks have emerged, with new data mined details on future Dendro Elemental Reactions.

Dendro is one of the seven elements ofGenshin Impact, and while certain enemies like Dendro Slimes and reactions are already included in the game, there are no Dendro playable characters yet. The Element should be added with the release of the Sumeru region, ruled by the Dendro Archon.

NewGenshin ImpactDendro Elemental Reactions crumbs leaks

Genshin Impactdatamining account Project Celestia revealed new Dendro Elemental Reactions data is included in the 2.4 Beta. The Reactions were first described as “Overgrow” and “Overdose” but will be officially translated to “Overgrown” and “Intensified”.

This makes perfect sense since you wouldn’t want your game to have the words “Overdose Reaction” together. Upcoming and promising indie ADV gameNeedy Girl Overdosealso just changed its name toNeedy Streamer Overload.

Right now,Genshin Impactalready has one unique Dendro reaction, Dendro + Pyro = Burning Reaction. It’s very likely the Overgrown Reaction will be Dendro + Hydro, and Intensified will be the reaction for Dendro + Electro. Certain reactions are different depending on which Element is applied first, so Dendro Reactions might also change depending on that order.

Analysis, predictions for Dendro Elemental Reactions Overgrown and Intensified inGenshin Impact

Overgrown sounds like some kind of poison-like Elemental Reaction. Dealing DMG over time to enemies and it’ll probably be scaled on Elemental Mastery. Meanwhile, Intensified might trigger some sort of stat debuff against enemies. Similar to Cryo and Electro = Superconduct decreasing Physical DEF, I’m betting that Intensified will reduce Elemental DEF.

While only two Dendro reactions were found in the data, you shouldn’t rule out that additional reactions will be implemented together with Dendro. In particular, we don’t know yet if it’ll be a unique element like Geo, which has no Swirl reaction, or if it will have some kind of interaction with Anemo.

miHoYo previously revealed thatall regions of Teyvat should be implemented in the game by 2025.This means that at least one region will be added per year and that Sumeru and Dendro should be released sometime in 2022. Seeing it’s the Traveler’s next destination. Sumeru should also mark the release of Baizhu as a Denndro playable character.
