Genshin Impact’s latest live stream took place earlier today, and fans got some exciting rewards and a sneak peek into one of the biggest updates that is all set to come in the game.

There are tons of new events which will be giving players a variety of rewards, along with new characters, weapons, and a lot more. Here is the banner schedule of the upcoming update.
5-Stars- Cyno, Venti
5-Stars- Albedo, Nilou
4-Stars- Candace
4-Stars- TBA
As one can see above, we have two new characters coming as part of the first update itself, which are Cyno and Candace. Cyno is a 5-star Electro that uses a Polearm. A scholar of Sumeru Akademiya, Cyno has a very strict and serious personality, with other researchers being quite afraid of him. Candace, on the other hand, is “a gentle and caring person” who also happens to be the Guardian of Aaru Village. Candace is also a Polearm character but has a Hydro Vision and is a 4-star instead. Lastly, we have another 5-star character, Nilou, who is a Sword user and has Hydro vision as well. Nilou is known as the Star of Zubayr Theater and is one of the most anticipated characters in the update.
As far as the other characters in the banners are concerned, fans are getting Albedo and Venti. While Venti has got a number of reruns periodically, the Albedo rerun is quite surprising, as fans weren’t expecting him to arrive anytime before December. There is still some ambiguity about the 4-star characters which will be coming in the two banners, and we should be getting more concrete information about them in the coming days. Do note that the updates arrive more frequently now after one of the previous updates was unprecedently delayed. So you need to ensure that you are keeping a track of the banner length as the previous 3-week window is no longer valid.
