Soon after miHoYo officially revealed the Raiden Shogunis releasingwithGenshin Impact Version 2.1, her kit was leaked - this means we know more about the Electro Archon’s Weapon, Elemental Skill, Burst, and Constellations.
Genshin Impact 2.1Leaks - Raiden Shogun weapon leaked
According toGenshin Impactleaker abc64, the Weapon type used by Baal will be Polearm. Despite the fact she’s seen using a sword multiple times in cinematic trailers, the Raiden Shogun is not a Sword character. This is definitely what I expected, as the sword answer seemed too obvious to be true.
Meanwhile, regarding the sword used by the Electro Archon in trailers, it looks to be linked to her Elemental Skill and Burst.
Raiden Shogun - Elemental Skill and Burst explained (Updated)
According toGenshinleaker Sukuna, the Raiden Shogun’s Q / Elemental Burst has her whipping out a samurai sword (a tachi). The sword seems to be called Musou Isshin. The Electro Archon changes playstyles after using her Q, and all her attacks deal Electro DMG. Overall, it sounds similar to how Childe’s Elemental Skill works.
Meanwhile, the E / Elemental Skill of the Raiden Shogun makes her summon a shard that initially deals Electro DMG, and then buff nearby party members with the Eye of Stormy Judgment. When characters with this buff attack an enemy, the Eye will attack coordinately and deal AoE Electro DMG. Overall, it sounds similar to the Rain Swords Xingqiu summons during his Elemental Burst, but with an AoE effect.
As always, keep in mind leaked details are subject to change.Genshin Impact 2.1will add the Raiden Shogun, Kujou Sara, and Sangonomiya Kokomi as new characters. The update should be launching on September 1 on PS4, PS5, mobile, and PC. You can always hit me up on Twitter@A_iyane07to discuss Inazuma characters and lore.
Normal Attack, Constellations and Skills in-game descriptions (Update)
Data miner Dimbreath, over on Twitter, has shared the in-game descriptions for the Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, Burst, and Constellations of the Raiden Shogun.
Keep in mind all the stats and effects are subject to change. Having heated DPS debates right now would be unwise in my opinion. In any case, this is mainly to get a better idea of what to expect when the Raiden Shogun will launch with Version 2.1.
