Kento Nanami’s death inJujutsu Kaisenhas probably been the most devastating in the series. Despite being one of Gege Akutami’s favorite characters, Nanami received a brutal death at the hands of Mahito, and that too, in front of his student, Yuji Itadori. Fans have been heartbroken watching their favorite character die in the series with no way of returning to the storyline.
However, characters like Kento Nanami are never forgotten and creators find a way to include them in the story one way or the other, to keep their memory alive among fans. Similarly, Akutami has proved their love for Nanami and brought his memory back for the fans to remember.
In the spoilers released for chapter 246 ofJujutsu Kaisen,Takuma Ino, the disciple of Kento Nanami was seen wielding Nanami’s dull sword when he was trying to attack Sukuna. This was in Akutami’s way an homage to the character and the love he received from fans all over the world.

Takuma Ino Uses Nanami’s Dull Sword Against Sukuna
According to the spoilers of Chapter 246,Gege Akutamiuses Takuma Ino as a medium to prove their love for Kento Nanami. Fans witnessed Ino use Nanami’s dull sword to battle Sukuna in the most recentJujutsu Kaisenspoilers.
Sukuna even gave Ino some credit for the unexpectedly powerful attack. Ino should be the one wielding the dull blade in battle after Nanami’s death, as he was the main student of Nanami and only cared about impressing his master. The dull blade that Ino now has suggests that he was the one who located Nanami’s body and made sure he was buried properly.
Likewise, he must have discovered the dull blade close by and decided to take it as a memento of his master. In this way, Ino and indirectly Akutami, pay the last, and perhaps most appropriate, tribute to his late master and their favorite character.

Akutami has confessed in many instances, that Nanami is his favorite character. Akutami has stated publicly that they adore Nanami because he is the first character inJujutsu Kaisenthat they have fully created on their own.
According to Akutami, Sukuna used to be their favorite character, but Nanami took over as the creators’ favorite after becoming the first character they were able to create on their own. But Akutami chose to kill off their beloved character, which upset a lot of fans.
