Gears of Waris one of the most successful and loved franchises that Xbox have had over the years. Fans have relished in the warfare and story-telling that the games have had since it was first introduced in 2006 and along with the various sequels to the game, the franchise has branched out into other mediums such as graphic novels, board games and an upcoming Movie adaptation.

Given that fans are still waiting for bothGears of War 6and the movie of the popular franchise, there is understandably much speculation about what may be included. As can be expected, many fans have proposed what they would like to see and one popular actor from theGearsgames has added his thoughts to the discussions about the futureGears 6game.
What did Liam McIntyre propose for Gears of War 6?
Taking to Social Media site X,Liam McIntyreresponded to a suggestion about what should happen in the next chapter of the franchise. McIntyre confirmed that he had pitched the very same suggestion to producer Rod Fergusson, who has since left, and hoped that this was not related.
The suggestion was that the upcoming game should have a version where the characters of JD and Del both survive. Now given how low the mortality rates are in the Gears franchise, could this be something we could see happen in the future game? This remains to be seen.

Whilst there is no confirmation that the Australian actor’s character will be featured in the upcoming Gears game, many fans on Social Media were hopeful that JD would be included. Some fans stated that the character of JD is one of the best of the newer characters added to the franchise, so no doubt McIntyre is hopeful that this carries over to producers.
Gears of War was picked up by Netflix for the Movie
Fans of the popular franchise were delighted to learn that popular streaming service Netflix had picked up the rights to the movie adaptation. Despite being stuck in development limbo for several years, there appears to be positivity with many rumours suggesting that the title is progressing well.

Despite the rights to the film being picked back up in 2007 by New Line Cinema, the development of this has stalled significantly over the years. However, that may have been a good thing given the current technological advancements which could better portray the subject matter that fans are crying out for.
Despite the Netflix project, it isGears of War 6which many fans are excited about and there are claimsthat this could be the redemption that Xbox are needingright now. With rumours that there may be more info about the game in the next few months, it could be an exciting summer forGearsfans.
