Challenging players with moral dilemmas, hostile environments and a fair amount of political intrigue,Frostpunk 2has been met with mostly positive reviews on Steam since its launch last year.

11 Bit Studios has been on fire in the last couple of years, witha catalog of great releasesspanning many themes and genres. From the narrative sci-fi adaptation of The Invincible to the supernatural detective adventure The Thaumaturge, it seems that 11 Bit has something for everyone, and the expansion of Frostpunk 2 to console players is yet another good example of that.
Taking place ten years after the first game, the technology and grandeur of the game are noticeably more advanced, with each decision seeming to carry even more weight on account of the larger populations.
While some players initially criticized the focus on large-scale city management compared with the more intimate feel of the first game, it has been well-received by PC players since its release. The steampunk aesthetic combined with a reasonable survival challenge and a unique setting should certainly make Frostpunk 2 an attractive prospect for console players as well.

For PC players, it is also a good time to jump back into Frostpunk 2 and prepare for the arrival of the Aurora DLC.
