As revealed by the officialForza Motorsportaccount onTwitter, the upcoming title from the series will be the main focus of the Forza Monthly stream later this week, which is set to go live a day afterXbox’s Developer Direct.Previously, it was revealed thatMicrosoftwill share new details on Forza Motorsport during the company’s next showcase on January 25. While it remains unknown what sort of information will be shared about the next racing hit by Turn 10, it was once mentioned byXbox Germanythat we could expect a release date announcement.

Xbox’s Developer Direct will also feature new trailers fromRedfall, Minecraft: Legends, andThe Elder Scrolls Online. This likely means that Turn 10 will have a limited time to explain all the new details about Forza Motorsport, but it appears as though they are now planning to release a new Forza Monthly live stream on January 26, focusing entirely on the upcoming Forza Motorsport.

The Forza Monthly stream will go live at 9AM UTC and is expected to last for 90 minutes before it switches to aForza Horizon 5stream at 10:30 am UTC. There is no information on what we should expect from this stream, but once the Developer Direct goes live, we will have more clues on the following stream for Forza Motorsport.

Microsoft officially announced Forza Motorsport back in 2020 with a brief teaser, followed by the release of a gameplay trailer in June 2022. The latest trailer broke down some of the notable features of the game such as the new physics system, the dynamic weather effects, and some impressive visual improvements.

Forza Motorsport is currently targeting a launch in Spring 2023 on Xbox Series X|S and PC. That being said, the developers have not denied the possibility of launching the game on Xbox One. It will also be available through Game Pass for no additional cost at launch.

The game aims to deliver constant 60 FPS at 4K resolution on Xbox Series X, featuring ray tracing. It is yet to be announced what visual options players would receive on other platforms, but theFAQpage suggests 60 FPS at 1080p for Xbox Series S, without mentioning 1440p resolution.
