A brand newFortniteupdate is set to be deployed later today (December 14), but will, unfortunately, come with some server downtime before the new patch is available for download.
Today’sFortniteupdate is the first content patch of Chapter 3, otherwise known as the v19.01 update. Fans can expect some important bug fixes, such as the return of Split Screen, as well as some new content to play with.
Fans will be pleased to know that today’s server downtime won’t be lasting as long as it did before the beginning of Chapter 3. You can check out the full server downtime schedule and patch notes for the December 14Fortniteupdate below.

ORIGINAL STORY:According to the officialFortniteStatus Twitteraccount, the game’s servers will be offline from12AM PT / 3AM ET / 8AM GMT. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes beforehand, with all servers being taken down at the time mentioned above.
Unfortunately, the length of today’s server downtime was not detailed. However, based on previousFortnitecontent updates, server maintenance will likely last for 2 hours. We will be sure to update this article once servers are back online.

CHAPTER 3 SEASON 1 SUPER LEVEL STYLES
In the Bonus Rewards section of the Battle Pass tab, bonus Styles for Chapter 3 Season 1 Outfits have been available for players who progress past Level 100. More bonus Styles have been added with v19.01: this Seasonâs Super Level Styles! Progress past Level 140 this Season and start unlocking theÂPhoto Negative,ÂScarlet Blackout, andÂGilded Reality Super Level Styles for Shanta, Ronin, Lt. John Llama, Harlowe, and Spider-Man.Â
