The campaign inCall of Duty: Black Ops 6hasn’t disappointed at all, however, fans have found a mistake in a certain mission that proves that Activision is too lazy. Players have discovered that the studio has used a vehicle model that is too modern a game that is set during the 1991 Gulf War.

This is not the first time this van has been used in the franchise as it first appeared in 2019’sCall of Duty: Modern Warfare. The vehicle choices and designs inBlack Ops 6‘s campaign are mostly spot on, however, this specific part was messed up as it looked out of place.

A van model, loosely based on the 2018 Ford Transit Custom and the 2014 Fiat Ducato eXV, was spotted in the campaign ofCall of Duty: Black Ops 6. Players pointed out that it looks too modern for the game as it is set in 1991. With its 2010s-like design and Xenon headlights, the vehicle certainly looks odd.

Clearly, this was done to save time and money but it is the small details that make a game exciting. In this case, it isn’t even a very minute detail, it is a massive vehicle, so reusing the same model wasn’t exactly the best move if Activision was aiming to give players an authentic experience.
The Van Model Has Been Reused FromCall of Duty: Modern Warfare
Keen-eyed fans of the franchise must have noticed that this van first appeared in 2019’sCall of Duty: Modern Warfare. An ambulance version of this unplayable vehicle also appeared in the game. This van model certainly fits the campaign ofModern Warfarebut notBlack Ops 6‘s campaign. The same model has been used in other Call of Duty games as well afterModern Warfare.
