DOTA 2, the multiplayer online battle arena title by Valve is very popular and has a massive community. Sam A. Mowry, the voice actor behind several heroes in the game passed away this weekend and the community is mourning his tragic loss.
Sam Mowry voiced a large number of characters across video games and television and the tributes are pouring in. From fans he came across to video game developers he worked with, everyone is paying respect to the legendary voice actor.

Mowry was 64 years old and passed away on July 20th due to cardiac arrest while he was being prepared for an emergency surgery. The surgery was for severe blockages in his arteries at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center in Clackamas, Oregon.

This is according to a post fromOregon Artswatch. Mowry’s wife Cindy McGean also shared the news of his demise on Facebook. She wrote,“For those who do not know, my beloved Sam died this morning. Find each other and share stories and hugs and maybe a glass of whiskey or some bacon.”

Sam Mowry was known for his kindness and genuinity. He was passionate about art and his demise has not only left a void but a giant legacy alongside. However, his voice is now immortalized and will forever be known to us.
