How To Beat Odin
Odin is a very tough fight, and no matter what power level he is fighting at, hisstats will scale to the party’s level.Odindoesn’t have any weaknesses, and the only way topressure this enemy is by landing ATB commands against him.Should the player be hit by too many of his attacks, he will use Gjallahorn’s Warning before unleashingZantetsuken, which will instakill the entire party.
While it may seem dangerous, it’s best tofight to the right of Odin, right by where he holds his weapon. Many of his attacks include a lunge forward, making thebest and most effective dodge straight to his back along the horse’s body. It’s also a good idea to have ranged characters and switch between them to continuously draw his attention from party member to party member.

Landing commands willpressure him,so it’s useful to useHaste on damage-focused charactersto get more commands off. Also, bring any item or accessory that hasReprive, such as Revival Earnings,to revive a single party member in the event he uses Zantetsuken. Despite the dangers of this fight, it’s best toplay more aggressively to keep Odin from instakilling the party.
Powerful Materiais also key to fighting such a difficult enemy.Upgrading the weaponsof all active party members for this fight can also be an easy way to strengthen them before attempting this difficult battle.
