Final Fantasy 16took the franchise back in a much heavier linear direction than what it is typically known for. If that sounds a little complicated to understand, the franchisehas had a big focus on large, open-world environments to explore. This changed withFinal Fantasy 13, which wastoolinear, but Final Fantasy 16 manages to capture alinear approach with greater success.
