The time has come to discover the franchise of the crystals.

The implementation of some of the races has been underwhelming, but that’s about to change. It has been confirmed in a post on the officialFinal Fantasy 14website that Viera and Hrothgar will now gain access to a much wider range of clothing than they had before.

Viera & Hrothgar Can Now Wear Hats

In Patch 7.3, the Viera and Hrothgar Warriors of Light can finally equip hats! This was something thatwasn’t possible for the longest time, due to their unconventional head shape/ear placement.

Additionally, it’s possible for Viera’s big bunny ears to be toggled on and off with certain pieces of headgear. Assumedly, the Warrior of Light made the holes themselves, probably during downtime between saving the world and grinding for gear.

Square Enix Clothing Brand Lit Baff

Obviously, there isother stuff being addedin Patch 7.3, like new MSQs, more tutorials, new furnishings for the homes no one can buy, and fresh pieces of equipment. The Viera and Hrothgar have even received new hairstyle options, making it easier to give them a makeover for their stylish adventures.

While the addition of hats might seem like a small thing, it’s anissue that has plagued playerssince Viera and Hrothgar came to the game. Part of the charm of MMOs is being able to build and equip a character, and it’s not quite the same if they can’t complete the look due to a lack of fancy hats.
