The second part of the long-awaitedFinal Fantasy 7remake trilogy has finally arrived, as Rebirth takes players on a whirlwind, epic adventure once more with Cloud and the gang. While still paying homage to the original, fans of the franchise are enjoying the visually stunning cutscenes, impressive character models, and outstanding action scenes, and if you don’t believe me,our reviewpretty much says it all.

As fun as it might be to ride around on a Chocobo all day, there’s an even more exciting mini-game that players are currently addicted to called Queen’s Blood, and if you’re one of the ones who can’t get enough of the compelling deck-builder card game, you’ll be pleased to know that there’s a way you can play it in real life too.

It’s Time To Duel

Card games have come a long way since Solitaire, that’s for sure. Once seen as an old-fashioned pastime for (mostly) older folk to draw in the hours, it has now garnered a huge following and has invaded so many of the games we know and love. From Red Dead Redemption’s poker game and The Witcher 3’s Gwent to Pazaak in Knights Of The Old Republic and Caravan in Fallout New Vegas, players can get sucked into these mini-games that can be just as enjoyable as the main game itself.

This seems to be the case withFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s Queen Bloodcard game too. In an addictive game of territory capture located in Costa del Sol, the goal is to win lanes by collecting points with a deck of 15 cards, and the player with the most points wins. As with many compelling card games found in video games, there’s always someone ready and willing to create them in real life and Rebirth is no different.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

Found via Reddit, commentorboredgamedoctorhas made a post highlighting how their production team has been playing a lot of FF7 Rebirth’s Queen’s Blood and were compelled to make it in real life for those also addicted to the mini-game. Not wanting to waste any time, the team has crafted a bare-bones prototype so that fans can take part even when they aren’t playing it in the game. Although it’s a basic first model at the moment, boredgamedoctor hoped to create an even better version if there’s enough interest. Spoiler - there was.

It seems as though their idea has now taken off due to an overwhelming interest (over 20k views and 200 shares in just a day), and are at present creating and securing the PDF files for fans of the game to download themselves - seemingly for free too. If you fancy getting your hands on the Queen’s Blood card game to play for real, keep an eye out for the link that will soon be posted in the comment section of the Reddit thread, and happy dueling!
