Falloutstands as one of Amazon’s biggest 2024 releases, and for good reason. The video game series boasts a rich history spanning decades, but what truly sets it apart is its unique blend of dark, post-apocalyptic setting with moments of genuine humor. This made it tricky for the creators to adapt, but they assure us that they’ve done their best.
The series encountered several roadblocks since its 2020 announcement. The lingering effects ofthe pandemicand the SAG-AFTRA/WGA strikes of 2023 caused production delays, leaving fans chomping at the bit to finally see the world ofFalloutcome alive on the small screen.

The second season ofInvincible, another popular series on Amazon, was chopped in half. The first four episodes released in late 2023, and were received well. But after the remainder of the seriesdropped on Primevery recently, many fans had moved on and didn’t care due to the months-long staggering.
And it’s easy to see why. The long gap between episodes disrupted the momentum and flow of the story, leaving viewers disconnected and questioning Amazon’s commitment to a consistent release schedule.

Falloutis the exact opposite of Invincible’s second season, as it releases with every episode, that too all at once, forgoing their usual week-long breaks between episodes. Moreover, the early release also shows Amazon’s confidence in the show, hinting at a gloriously well-made series.
