The science fiction black comedy, which was made with a relatively low budget of $35 million, blew high-profile projects likeBarbieout of the water in two major categories. Apart from the aforementioned success, the film’s lead star,Emma Stone, won the award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy.
