To find the Vacuum Slice Ash Of War, you’ll need to head to the deep roots section of the underground area.Start from the Deeproots Depths Site of Grace, andhead into the nearby townfollowing the clear flooded path. As you head towards the small center of the town, be wary of the ranged enemy near the central structure who will begin attacking you from a far range.
Approach the central structure andlook to the left to see a larger cathedral-type buildingwith the door open. Inside willbe another ranged enemy, along with a few corpses of others of the same type of creature lining the walls. At thevery back of the building and at the feet of the live one will be an itemto be picked up, the Vacuum Slice Ash Of War.

This Ash Of War can be affixed on swords and axes, with the exception of colossal axes. Equipping this ash of war will give the weapon the skill Vacuum Slice along with the Quality affinity. Quality will make the weapon scale equally from yourstrengthanddexterity, perfect for early-game builds where you haven’t fully started leaning towards one or the other. This affinity will keep the weapon very similar to how it usually is, dealing whatever type of physical damage it already does, just now scaling equally.
The skill Vacuum Slice is a very versatile and powerful skill. Players may recognize this skill as being very similar to the one from the unique sword that you use to fight Yhorm inDark Souls 3. This skill is able to hit enemies up in the air and on the ground for significant damage while cutting through them and hitting any other enemies behind them.With the low FP cost, this skill decimates groups of enemies that are lined up and are helpful in any situation due to the area hit by each cast.
