Scrolls are items in Elden Ring that you can bring to your mentor and allow them to reveal new spells in their shop. The only problem is you have to travel and find the locations of the scrolls to obtain them.

Location Of The Royal House Scroll
You must locate the Royal House Scroll to learn new spells from your mentor. First, travel to Southern Limgrave to the Waypoint Ruins Cellar Site of Grace. If you haven’t found this Site of Grace yet, it is marked on the map above, directly North of the Bridge of Sacrifice that leads into the Weeping Peninsula.
Once you’re at the Site of Grace, travel Southeast until you come across a large cube-shaped structure with a glintstone mage standing on top of it. Make your way onto the high ground behind the block and use Torrent to jump onto the structure. Defeat the mage (he shouldn’t be very challenging), and in the corner, there will be a dead body with an item on top. Pick up this item, and you will obtain the Royal House Scroll!
How To Use The Royal House Scroll
It’s great that you have obtained the scroll, but what do you do with it? Bring the scrolls to one of your mentors. Two early game mentors are theSorceress Sellen, located in the Waypoint Ruins Cellar from earlier, and Miriel, Pastor of Vows (The Gigantic Speaking Turtle), located in the Church of Vows.
Once you have given one of your mentors the scroll, you will have unlocked two new spells! The first spell is theCarian Slicerwhich you can now purchase for 1500 gold. According to its description, the staff spell “performs swift, sweeping slash using a magical sword.” It has a surprisingly wide range of attacks that is extremely useful for taking down groups of enemies. The spell uses one memory spot, requires 14Intelligenceto use, and costs 4 FP.
The second spell you can buy for 2500 gold is the Glintblade Phalanx. This staff sorcery uses one memory slot, requires 22 Intelligence, and costs 20 FP. According to its description, this spell “Forms a defensive arch of magical glintblades”. When cast, you will be under protection from any enemies who dare to step within a few feet of you. While this won’t completely eliminate them, it will prevent them from hitting you once or twice while staggering them, allowing you to land a powerful follow-up attack.
