Grab your Greataxe and summon those Stelas, because it’s time to tackle the Remembrance Quest ofElden Ring Nightreign’s fiercest Nightfarer. And don’t you worry, this quest has plenty of action compared to the others, for those itching for a challenge.
While this quest may not pull on your heartstringslike some of the others do,it’ll seriously test your skills in battle, which is certainly fitting for the mighty warrior of the seas. In addition, the relics unlocked are pretty great, so if you’re looking for a sizable power boost, look no further.

Elden Ring Nightreign: How to Play Raider
This guide covers everything you need to know about playing as Raider in Elden Ring Nightreign.
This guide will not only cover the quest but also how to obtain the tricky memory fragments needed to move forward.

Memory Fragments
Before we start with the actual quest itself, it’s worth knowing how to obtain the memory fragments. It seems that you actually spend more time looking for fragments than completing the actual quest itself. But that’s alright, it’s easier than it seems at first glance.
Starting off, you don’t need to complete an expedition to unlock chapter 2 of the Raider;simply completing your first Nightlord is enough. You just need to play as him for a little while.

Elden Ring Nightreign: How To Beat Gladius, Beast of Night
Someone forgot to put a leash on this puppy.
Of course, after that chapter is when the difficult bit begins. To get from Chapters 3 to 4, you must kill any Nightlord with the Raider. And then, once you’ve finished chapter 4,you need to complete 2 more expeditions, both as The Raider!
That’s3 Nightlordsdefeated in total as The Raider. But thankfully, they can all be Gladius if you wish. The type of expedition is not important here, simply that you succeed. Thankfully, the practice that you’ll receive from playing a bunch of expeditions will greatly help you in the final fight.

Chapter 2 - Step Into The Colosseum
After playing with The Raider, you can head over to the room east of the Expedition chamber and then read the Journal to access the first Remembrance Quest.
Remember, if you don’t know where to go in any of the remembrance quests, simply open your map to see the exclamation mark showing you where to go.

Upon completion of the quest, you will receive the Torn Braided Cord item from the memory. It acts as an equipable relicwith the following bonuses.
This relic is great if you use the Retaliate Skill a lot (which you should be doing). You’ll receive a power boost after you’ve activated the skill,if you take damage in the middle of it, which is basically all the time when a boss is right in your face. The extra strength is nice too!
Chapter 4 - With Tooth And Nail
At this point, you need to go on an expedition with the Raider and complete it successfully.Failing the expedition will not give you any fragments, so good luck!
Elden Ring Nightreign: How To Use Relic Rites
Collected a ton of Relics from all your previous expeditions? Here is how you may perform Relic Rites in Elden Ring Nightreign.
After completing this second part, you’ll receiveThe Raider’s Chalice, which you can utilise at the Relic Rite Altar. This may be useful to you if you’ve received relics that apply to the colours of the chalice. Your Braided Cord relic can be used on the final colourless slot, which can be used for any relic.
Chapter 7 - The Final Test
At this point, you may be a little confused.
To unlock the next part of the quest, you’re going to need to defeat2 more Nightlords with The Raider.I tested this and simply killed Gladius both times to receive my fragments. At this point, I had killed 7 different Nightlords,so you should try and kill as many unique bosses as possibleto guarantee your fragments.
Before you enter this fight, ensure you have some decent relics equipped. Anything that boosts your poise or strength is good here. In addition, your final enemy is weak to fire and frostbite, so elements that buff your weapon are nice here too.
At this point, you will receive your second relic, which is another great one for the Raider. The Black Claw necklace has the following stats:
Run over to the relic altar and ensure you equip the necklace for a well-deserved buff to your stats. attempt to find a combination that allows you to use the Torn Braided Cord and the Necklace for the best results. You should be able to see the difference in your next match.
While this quest may not have had the best storyline, compared to something likeThe Revenant, the fights here are certainly the most interesting feature. You don’t get any huge buffs like you would from playing a proper expedition, so it’s really just testing your actual fighting abilities, which is a breath of fresh air in a game like Nightreign. No more relying on your teammates!
Apart from that, the Remembrance Quest is now completed, and you can continue pummeling your enemies into the ground as you go on to defeat thefinal, brutal Nightlord.
