How To Get The Halo Scythe
The Halo Scythe can only be obtained by farming the few enemies that wield this weapon. It has anincredibly low drop rateand may take a few minutes offarming a specific enemybefore you finally get it. With it being an item drop, bringing a fewSilver Pickled Fowl Feetis best toboost your discovery temporarily.
To get these Silver Pickled Fowl Feet, you need tofarm birds to obtain a Four-Toed Fowl Foot. You will also need3 Rowa fruitandone Silver Fireflyto create the Silver Pickled Fowl Foot. Using these while farming can reduce the time it takes to get the Scythe to drop.
Once you have the Fowl Feet, head to theCommander O’Neil site of gracenear theHeart of Aeonia. From this site of grace, you’ll be able to efficiently farm three enemies who can drop the scythe and respawn them quickly to get the most use out of an active Fowl Foot. From this site of grace will be three exits when facing west. Each exit to the front and sides willhave a soldier patrolling the areaandwielding the Halo Scythe. Other soldiers will rise out of the Scarlet Rot to fight you but won’t be wielding the Scythe and, therefore, can’t drop it.
Only the enemies yousee wielding the Scythe will drop it, so avoid the others, as they will only take up your time to fight.Stay on Torrentwhile you farm to speed up how quickly you get from one enemy to the next andprotect you from the Scarlet Rot buildup. From here, quickly run from one enemy to the next that wields the Scythe, killing them quickly andreturning to the site of grace to respawn them. With this strategy, it still may take a while to obtain the Scythe but stick to it, and you’ll have one of the better weapons in the game.

How To Use The Halo Scythe
This weaponscales offstrength,dexterity, andfaith,dealing physicalandholy damagewith a staggering amount ofbleed buildup. While it will fit nicely in just about any build, this weapon excels and is one of the best options for amelee-based faith build. While its faith scaling on its basic attacks is only just okay, its scaling on itsspecial skill isonly based on faithand can deal a surprising amount of damage.
This weapon has theunique skill of Miquella’s Ring Of Light. You may see this ability early as the enemies you farm will use it should they engage you from a distance. This skill fires aring of holy damage at an enemy in an arching path. While this Scythe already has a decent range, this skill now gives it a faith-based distance attack spell. This skill can becast in quick successionsshould you have the stamina and FP. With the high bleed build-up stat, this weapon can quickly put out massive amounts of damage very quickly.
