“It’s impossible not to do that, especially when you get so far down the line. It’s part of why you’re so far down the line, because you’re living and dreaming the character. It is heartbreaking, it is always hard. You have to envision yourself in the role in order to see the role. you’re able to’t have one foot in and one foot out.”

Speaking toL’Officiel,she elaborated on the aspects of the story that stood out and made her a huge fan.

“After I educated myself, read the scripts, and read the book, there was no way I couldn’t be part of this show. I have never seen a show like this. There [isn’t one show or one movie] that I can reference…I would have to reference seven different types of sci-fi to explain our show. I think that, to me, it was a no-brainer. It was groundbreaking.”

Gonzalez was also grateful that she was given the opportunity to be part of projects that challenged her as an artist and gave her meaty roles to sink her teeth into. Judging by the reception that she is getting from fans across the world, her future films will definitely be garnering a lot of attention.
