FIFA 23 is less than a month away from launch and EA has just revealed the Premier League POTM nominees for the month of August. As always, you will be able to vote for the player that you think had a superior performance during the last month’s league games.

As expected, Erling Haaland is the first nominee thanks to his incredible beginning in Premier League. Next to Haaland, you can spot Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus who seems to be well-matched with his new team after a perfect start with 5 consecutive wins that have put Gunners at top of the table up until now. Martin Odegaard is the next Arsenal player among the nominees. The Norwegian midfielder has scored 3 goals in Premier League so far and has been a crucial member of the team in the previous matches.

But honestly, it doesn’t feel right that EA has not put Harry Kane among the nominees, the player who scored 4 goals in five matches last month.

Pascal Groß from Brighton, Aleksandar Mitrovic from Fulham, Nick Pope from Newcastle United, Rodrigo from Leeds United, and Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace are the other nominees with the chance to become the Player of the Month for August 2022.

EA has not officially announced if the August 2022 POTM for Premier League would be present in the FIFA 23 Ultimate Team mode, but regarding the fact that the game will launch later in September and this month’s POTM players are expected to be revealed in mid-October, the August 2022 POTM players will likely become available in FUT.
