If you’ve gotten past the likes of Ape Vegeta so far, then I don’t blame you for thinking you could conquer any episode battle inDragon Ball: Sparking Zero.

Unfortunately, if you’re like many other players, that motivation can be shattered by the intimidating duo of Zamasu and Goku Black in the Future Trunks arc.

Meanwhile,Holy WrathandBlades of Judgmentare both special blast attacks that can stagger your health bar if you can’t dodge or block them to negate damage.

And besides that, there aren’t any major things you should know about him other than that he gains a Special Rush Attack, which I strongly advise guarding against or dodging.

How To Defeat Fused Zamasu In Goku’s Episode

You’ll face Fused Zamasu during the"Into a Third Future” battle, but before that, there’s the issue of the fight where you actually have three opponents.

At the start of the fight, you’ll need to lower the health of Zamasu himself and then Goku Black to a point where they’ll both fuse together.

During this bout, it’s either the case where you may survive long enough for the battle to end or youquickly defeat Fused Zamasu to fulfill the alternate objective ending.

If you haven’t, we highly recommend doing the battle training with Gohan and Piccolo, which will teach you almost everything, including key mechanics such as the Z-Burst Dash and the various defensive moves.

But what’s the strategy? It applies to all character episodes, and that’s constantlyplaying aggressively, entering Sparking Mode, and rushing down your foes with endless rush combos followed by an ultimate.

What’s even more imperative is that you know how to perform the various defensive maneuvers in the game, such asSonic Swaysand Z-Counters.

It’ll also help that you practice a mechanic that lets youteleport behind enemies in Sparking Zerofor openings known as Vanishes.

You will be rewarded with 15,000 Zeni and Player EXP for successfully completing the “Into a Third Future” battle.

How To Defeat Fused Zamasu In Trunks Episode

With Future Trunks, you battle Fused Zamasu during the"Save the Future"battle, with a final one against hisHalf-Corrupted form in “Final Battle with Zamasu.”

If you beat Zamasu and Goku Black quickly enough in the “Twisted Future,” you’re able to unlock an alternateending for Future Trunksthat leads into the Shining Hope What-If route.

The same strategy we’ve mentioned above can be applied here:you keep a variable distance, charge up your Ki for Sparking Mode to unleash your attack barrage, and repeat.

However, I’d like to reiterate that you’ll need to be able to counter effectively with your own Vanishes and Z-Counters if Zamasu does the same because you can’t constantly stay out of the AI’s range.

It’s also important to know that therewon’t be any additional characters to swap withwhen you’re in trouble or low on health.

You only have Trunks here, and any special attack that Fused Zamasu does (especially the Half-Corrupted form’s Rush attack) can hurt you a lot if you get caught in them, leaving little room for error in the fight.

Thankfully, Trunks has some great utility skills, with"Power Up to the Very Limit"giving you instant Sparking Mode andExplosive Waveto help you escape any kind of cornered situation.

Although the former costs 3 Skill Charges, it is worth using it towards the middle or end of the battle when you need to quickly finish off Fused Zamasu or his Half-Corrupted form via Sparking Mode’s relentless rush attacks.

While this version of Trunks in both battlesdoesn’t have the Final Hope Slash as his ultimatesince he uses it on Zamasu as part of the story, you may still use his iconic DBZ Ultimate, the Shining Sword Attack.
