Even beforeDiablo 4launched, Blizzard revealed that the game would follow a traditional seasonal model, with each season lasting quite a few months. Then, it all kicked off in July last year with the Season of Malignant, the title’s first season, with the second one coming in October.

In January this year, Blizzard debuted Season 3, following it up with Season 4, which was loved by the entire community. Now, the attention of gamers is turning towards the title’s next chapter, Season of the Infernal Hordes, which now has a release date and will completely change how we experience the Blizzard game.
Diablo 4’s Next Season is Right on the Horizon
After weeks of anticipation, Blizzard has finally announced that the fifth season ofDiablo 4, the Season of the Infernal Hordes, will begin on August 6th at 10 AM PT.

With the reveal of the start date, Blizzard also gave a proper overview of what can be expected with the upcoming season, such as new activities, rewards, and looming threats in Sanctuary.

Undoubtedly,one of the biggest additions to the upcoming seasonalDiablo 4updateis the questline for The Eyes of The Enemy and Lambs and Wolves, which will be available to dive into across Seasonal and Eternal Realms updates.
Blizzard is finally bringing us a brand-new mode, dubbed Infernal Hordes, which will be available to play in both realms from World Tier 3. In this particular mode, gamers will have 60 seconds to take on waves of enemies and earn rewards by surviving and defeating the Fell Council.

Blizzard Will Also Add 50 New Unique, and Legendary Items With Diablo 4 Season 5
With the release ofDiablo 4‘s next season, gamers will get the opportunity to obtain over 50 new Unique and Legendary Items.
Blizzard has confirmed that gamers will be able to get their hands on these items by defeating enemies across Sanctuary, but the drop chances will boost from the Spoils of Hell in the Infernal Hordes.

Just like the previous seasons, Blizzard will also drop a new battle pass, bringing brand new seasonal rewards, including Legendary Aspects, Favor, and Amnesia Scrolls.
