Diablogames have always given us plenty of ways tospecialize our charactersinto fun and unique builds. Druid builds are especially diverse; from shapeshifting into monstrous beasts to calling down powerful storms, Druids can fill more roles than most other classes.

Endgame builds are especially flexible inDiablo 4. There are a ton of ways to build Druids thanks to skills, legendary aspects, paragon nodes, and much more. It can be a little tricky to get everything organized with the vastness of this game. Here are two of the very best Druid builds for you to work from, complete with gameplay tips.

Druid Specializations
Storm magic is great for leveling Druids, and there are plenty of casters' builds still perfectly viable for the endgame. But the two most powerful Druid builds currently rely on Shapeshifting.
The Alpha Werewolf Druid has extremely high damage output, plus deadly Werewolf companions. Werebear Druid Tanks are nearly immortal due to endlessFortify Lifeand self-healing. Both are masters of their respective roles.

Alpha Werewolf Best Skills
This build is particularly interesting for its tendency to turn other skills into Werewolf skills. This is accomplished by using various aspects, detailed later.

Your Wolf Companions are now Werewolf Companions. Werewolf Companions deal [75-100]% bonus damage and can spread Rabies.
Aspect of the Stampede
Gain 1 additional Companion. In addition, your Companion Skills deal [10-20]% bonus damage.
Dire Wolf’s Aspect
Grizzly Rage now shapeshifts you into a Dire Werewolf. As a Dire Werewolf, you gain [15-20]% Movement Speed instead of Damage Reduction and a [30-50]% Spirit cost reduction bonus. In addition, kills Heal you for 10% of your Maximum Life.
Aspect of the Rampaging Werebeast
The duration of Grizzly Rage is increased by [1-5] seconds. In addition, Critical Strikes, while Grizzly Rage is active, increase your Critical Strike Damage by 10% for the duration.
Boots, Gloves, Head, Offhand
Aspect of the Dark Howl
Debilitating Roar is now a Werewolf Skill. In addition, Debilitating roars will Immobilize Poisoned enemies for [2.0-4.0] seconds.
Aspect of Shared Misery
Lucky Hit: When you hit a Crowd Controlled enemy, there is up to a [30-50]% chance for that Crowd Control effect to spread to another unaffected enemy.
Amulet, Head, Legs, Offhand
Aspect of the Crowded Sage
You Heal for [X] Life per second for each Close enemy, up to [X] Life per second. (This one varies greatly based on the current level and Max Life)
Vigorous Aspect
Gain [10.0-15.0]% Damage Reduction while shapeshifted into a Werewolf.
Amulet, Boots
Wind Striker Aspect
Critical Strikes grant [8.0-16.0]% Movement Speed for 1 second, up to 6 seconds.
Aspect of the Unsatiated
After killing an enemy with Shred, your next Werewolf Skill generates [20-30]% more Spirit and deals [20-30]% more damage.

Alpha Werewolf Gear & Gems
The best Affixes for the Alpha Werewolf build are typically Skill increases, particularlyBonus Companion SkillsorBonus Werewolf Skills. Other than those, you’ll want to build up plenty of Critical Strike rating, Poison damage, and Movement Speed.

Unique Items
Some legendary items are not aspects which can be extracted, but instead are build-changingunique items. These can be found from special content on World Tier 3 and higher. If you may find one, they’re often good enough to make a whole build around.
Mad Wolf’s Gleeis a unique chest item that gives2 extra Ranks to all Werewolf Skills. While wearing it,Werewolf form is your true and default form. The unique pantsStorm’s Companiongivebonus Ranks to Wolf companions, and also letsyour wolves channel powerful lightningdamage.
Alpha Werewolf Best Paragon Nodes
After grinding your character up to Level 50, you’ll automatically gain access toDiablo 4’s Paragon boards. Each class has different boards and Paragon nodes that go with various skills and build.

Alpha Werewolf Playstyle
Putting this Werewolf Druid build together can take some work withall these Aspects. But once you do, it’s a dream to play. Werewolf pets are extraordinarily powerful, far stronger than most other minions in Diablo 4. Use Claw, Shred, and Rabies toPoison, your enemies, and then unleash aDebilitating Roarto stop them in their tracks. The bonus Movement Speed will then let you weave through the battlefield with ease.
This build has amazing damage output, and its survivability is great too. All the Life gain effects stack up very nicely. The Damage Reductions are solid too. To complete the Alpha Werewolf Druid build, you’ll need to pick out some Spirit Boons.

Distant enemies have an 8% chance to be Stunned for 2 seconds when they hit you. You deal [20-40]% increased damage to Stunned enemies
Aspect of Retaliation
Your Core Skills deal up to [20-40]% increased damage based on your amount of Fortify.
The duration of Grizzly Rage is increased by [1-5] seconds. In addition, Critical Strikes while Grizzly Rage is active increase your Critical Strike Damage by 10% for the duration.
Eluding Aspect
Becoming Injured while Crowd Controlled grants you Unstoppable for 4 seconds. This effect has a [40-20] second Cooldown.
Aspect of Disobedience
You gain [0.25-0.5]% increased Armor for 4 seconds when you deal any form of damage, stacking up to [25-50]%.
Skinwalker’s Aspect
When you use a Shapeshifting Skill that changes your form, gain [X] Life. If you are at full Life, gain the same amount of Fortify.
Ghostwalker Aspect
While Unstoppable and for 4 seconds after, you gain [10-25]% increased Movement Speed and can move freely through enemies.
Mangled Aspect
When you are struck as a Werebear, you have a [20-30]% chance to gain 1 Spirit.
Werebear Tank Gear & Gems
Since the Werebear Druid build is so perfect for tanking, you’ll definitely want Affixes that lean into that role.Bonus Werebear Skills and Defensive Skillsare the best additional gear stats that you’re able to find.

The best way to find unique items is probably throughNightmare dungeons. Use higher tier sigils, and bring more friends along, to improve your chances of finding something amazing.
Insatiable Furyis the best unique chest item for the Werebear Druid tank, since it gives2 bonus Ranks to Werebear Skills. It has great defensive and offensive buffs, and also makesWerebear form your true and default form.

Werebear Tank Best Paragon Nodes
Survival Instinct
While in Werebear form, deal 1% increased damage, up to 50%, for every 1% difference between your and your enemies' Current Life levels.
4.0% Damage Reduction while Fortified; +6.5% Fortify Generation
+10.0% Werebear Skill Damage; +30.0%Overpower Damage
Battleworn Hide
+2.0% Total Armor while in Werebear form; +10 Willpower
+12.5% Damage while Healthy; +100 Armor
For every 5, Willpower deal increased damage while in Werebear form. Gain 10% Damage Reduction in Werebear form.
For every 5 Intelligence deal bonus, Overpower damage. When you Overpower an enemy, they take additional damage from you for 5 seconds.
Werebear Tank Playstyle
Tanking in Diablo 4 can be challenging, especially when you have no taunting moves like with the Werebear Tank build. Fortunately, this build still packsplenty of Crowd Controland AOE attacks to help keep the threat focused on you. Use your naturalEvade/Dodgeability to get outside of groups before smashingPulverize, which creates a traveling shockwavewith this build.
Learning to effectivelyalternate Debilitating Roar and Blood Howlis essential for tough Boss fights. Each one heals you substantially, but you need to be sure to give them some time between uses. Having both on cooldown can sometimes force you to use a potion! But the fact that using potions is such a rarity just goes to show how tough the Werebear Druid can be.
