Side dungeons are an essential part of anyDiablo 4playthrough. Whether you’re running through them as a break in the story, to boost yourregion renown,to grab anaspect you needfor your build, or as part of your late-game legendary grind, you’ll need to play through plenty of these dungeons that sit off the beaten path.

Hawezar, the fifth region in Diablo 4, has 23 of these side dungeons, and you’ll likely need to know where to find a few of them just in case you end up needing to clear them. But before you go running off to fill in every corner of the map, here’s where you can find every side dungeon in Hawezar and what to do to unlock the ones you can’t find.
All Hawezar Dungeon Locations
Hawezar has23 dungeons scattered throughout the tangled undergrowth of the swamp,but you won’t be able to unlock all of them at the start of the game. Of those 23 dungeons, only 16 can be discovered at any point in the game. For the others, you’ll have to unlock them in various ways.
If you’re trying to discover a dungeon,simply approach its location,and the game should fill in the area for you automatically. If you’re able to’t reach the location or if the dungeon doesn’t pop up on the map when you get close, that meansit’s locked behind other content.

Locked Dungeons In Hawezar
You can discover 16 of the 23 dungeons in Hawezar since the start of the game, butthose last seven dungeons will have to be unlockedeither by continuing through the main quest or by completing strongholds in the region first.
Five of the seven locked dungeons are hidden behind various quests.You’ll have to progress most of the way through act five before you get access to the Iron Hold, Steadfast Barracks, Akkhan’s Grasp, the Serpent’s Lair, and the Fetid Mausoleum. These dungeons either don’t appear until you’ve completed a similar story-related dungeon or are kept in locked locations that you need the main quest to get into.
Only two of the locked dungeons in Hawezar are uncovered byclearing strongholds.Beating Eirman’s Pyre will unlock the aptly named Oblivion dungeon, and cleaning up Vyeresz will give you access to Shadowed Plunge. You won’t unlock any additional dungeons for completing the Crusader’s Monument Stronghold.
