" target="_blank" rel=“noopener noreferrer”>Twitter user Jordan Oloman was able to find some clues that might reveal the setting of the game. He said in a thread that after downloading the HD version of the trailer he discovered that the project is “set in Vatican City in October 1937, at least for some part of it. You can see the Sistine Chapel on the map.”

The thread goes onto examine the letter being written on the typewriter. It’s hard to read, but, as Oloman points out, some of the text says “…thank you for taking your time to help me … with this written request… I will be arriving in Rome… I have been informed that your contact will be waiting.” The letter is addressed to someone with the title “Father” which also supports the evidence for the game’s Roman setting.

This information doesn’t tell us much about the actual content of Indie’s adventure, but it does help inform the setting or at least part of it. TheÂIndiana Jonesmovies are known for their many lush locations as the treasure Indie and company seek is never found after the first clue.
