All of Arc’s Aspects, Fragments, and Abilities can beunlockedatIkora Rey in the Tower. Simply purchase any abilities you do not have here. It will cost you a bit of glimmer, so maybe have some on hand before you visit Ikora. Certain Aspects and Fragments arevitalto these builds, so it’s important that you make sure you have them.
Crafting Your Arcstrider Build
With every build in Destiny, there are a number of important parts, with each element of the build being as important as the next. Making sure that your Aspects, Fragments, Mods,Exotic armor choices, and your weapon picks are all good isvitalfor a good build. While some weapons are better than others, no specific gun is required for either of our builds here.
Arcstrider Aspects
There are currentlythe only Aspects availableto Arcstriders right now, but thankfully, they are extremely multi-faceted and arecore parts of our builds, especially Flow State and Lethal Current.
Flow State
Defeating a jolted target makes youamplified. While your amplified, your dodge recharges quicker, you are more resilient while dodging, and your reload speed is greatly increased
Lethal Current
After dodging, your next melee attack has increased lunge range, joltsthe target, and creates a damaging aftershock. Damaging any jolted target with melee attacks also blinds them.
Tempest Strike
While sliding, activate your charged melee ability to unleash a devastating uppercut attack that travels along the ground in front of you, damaging andjoltingtargets it hits.
Arc Fragments
Arc has a good number of solid Fragments to choose from. Fragments are the engine behind most builds and provide a ton of different effects. Here are some of our favorites:
Spark of Feedback
Taking melee damage briefly increases your outgoing melee damage. +10 Resilience
Spark of Shock
Your Arc grenadesjolttargets. -10 Discipline
Spark of Resistance
While surrounded by combatants, you are more resistant to incoming damage. +10 Strength
Spark of Ions
Defeating ajoltedtarget creates an Ionic Trace.
Spark of Amplitude
Rapidly defeating targets while you areamplifiedcreates an Orb of Power
Spark of Recharge
While critically wounded, your melee and grenade energy regenerates more quickly.
These are all strong Fragments right now and will be used in our builds.

Exotic Armor
Arcstrider brings Assassin’s Cowl to its full potential, the invisibility and healing from powered melee kills is remarkably easy to pull off on Arcstrider with your high-damage melee attacks.Arc Hunteralso brings back a more forgotten exotic in Shinobu’s Vow and its power with Skip Grenades. Given the number of Fragments that synergize with these exotics, it makes sense that our builds incorporate these two pieces of armor.
Armor Mods
Each Mod has its use, but certain ones are better for our builds than others. Here are some of the best picks:
These mods arekeyto our builds, so verify you include them whenever recommended.

Arcstrider Build: Assassin’s Cowl Melee
This first build uses Assassin’s Cowl’s invisibility and healing effects to safely weave in and out of combat. This build is all about getting yourCombination Blow stacks to x3. To do this, you will need to get three powered melee kills. You caninfinitelycycle a Combination Blow melee kill and your Gambler’s Dodge class ability, as Combination Blow kills grant full class ability energy, and using Gambler’s Dodge near an enemy gives you full melee ability energy.
This is a very ‘in the fray’ build. You areup close and personalwith your enemies, and you need to have full confidence in your melee attacks as hesitating often means death — especially in harder content. However, when you get the flow of this build down, you cantearthrough the battlefield, dealingconsiderabledamage to even the strongest of foes.

Armor Piece
2x Hands On
2x Firepower and Impact Induction
Resistance Mods matching the enemy’s damage
2x Innervation and Orbs of Restoration
2x Bomber and Distribution
Make sure to include stat mods wherever possible tomax out your Resilience, Discipline, and Intellectin that order of priority.
This mod setup combined with our Fragment and Aspect choices will make for a build thatconstantly spawns Orbs of Powerwhile granting high uptime on our Pulse Grenade and Gathering Storm super. When everything comes together, this is one of the most fun builds in the entire game, as combiningall fourof your abilities as often as possible is never not enjoyable.

Arcstrider Build: Shinobu’s Vow Skip Grenades
Shinobu’s Vow has been forgotten about by some players, which is crazy considering how potent Skip Grenades can truly be. With the right mod setup, you can bespawning Orbs of Powerconstantlywhile taking down groups of enemies with ease.
2x Ashes to Assets
2x Firepower and Grenade Kickstart
Charged Up and resistance mods matching your enemy’s damage
Stacks on Stacks and 2x Innervation
Once again, try to fit as many stat mods in as possible, focusing on Resilience, Discipline, and Mobility in that order.
These mods will provide you with Orbs of Power constantly, which will feed your Armor Charge stacks foreven more grenades. Ionic Traces will also grant ability energy, and given you will be throwing jolting grenades, you will be spawning tons of Ionic Traces. This build loops together perfectly, with every part feeding into another, making for avery satisfying gameplay loop.
These two builds make Arcstrider trulyviable in basically every piece of contentin the game. If you want a safer but perhaps a less potent approach, go for Shinobu’s Vow. If you want to be a little riskier but deal some more damage, try Assassin’s Cowl.
