Warlocks are the resident support/healer class ofDestiny 2, and most of their exotic armors accentuate this fact. 10The Stag
It’s important not to sleep on this exotic because it’s actually kind of useful. The Stag is an exotic helmet with the intrinsic perk,Dearly Departed, which makes your rift provide damage reduction to any allied Guardians standing in it. It also grants rift energy when you are critically wounded, and when you die, it creates a Healing Rift on your corpse.
This helmet is very useful innormal and Competitive Cruciblebecause you can be helpful towards your team even if you’re dead. It’s not that great in PvE, so that’s why it is so low on this list. You can acquire The Stag by opening exotic engrams or by visiting Xur over the weekend.
9Sunbracers
These exotic gauntlets can be a beast if you have the right Solar build going with them. Sunbracers have the exotic perk,Helium Spirals, that increase the duration of Solar Grenades. Solar melee kills also grant unlimited Solar Grenade energy for a short time. This essentially means if you get a charged melee kill, you can throw as many Solar Grenades as you can for five seconds!
The ability to do this is great for clearing enemies in Dungeon and Raid encounters, as well as being able to chip away at the bosses' health bar in Vanguard Strikes. This is a bit more tricky to pull off in PvP, but is still technically doable. These gauntlets are also worn by thelegendary Warlock, Osiris. 7Karnstein Armlets
These gauntlets are a solid choice for use by any subclass. It’s recommended to use these with a ranged melee ability to help keep you alive, such as the new Solar 3.0 snap or the Stasis ice wand shot.

6Felwinter’s Helm
Here’s another underutilized exotic helmet, similar to The Stag. Felwinter’s Helm is a good choice to use because of its intrinsic perk,Warlords End. This perk makes powered melee final blows create a burst of energy that weakens nearby enemies. It is important to note that Finishers on low health enemies will also activate this effect. This helmet’s power can be amplified by pairing it with the Feed the Void aspect to activate Devour in the Voidwalker skill tree, though it can be used with any subclass.
The weakening effect can also be transferred to a boss if a smaller enemy is melee attacked next to them. Felwinter’s Helm can be found by opening exotic engrams or by speaking to Xur over the weekend.
5Crown of Tempests
This exotic should be the number one choice for all users of the Stormcaller subclass. Crown of Tempest’s intrinsic perk,Conduction Tines, makes arc ability kills increase the recharge rate of your arc abilities and extend the duration of the Stormtrance super. This makes this the essential choice for arc Warlocks in PvE activities.
It is slightly less useful in PvP because it will be harder to get ability kills on Guardians — though the extended super duration will help. Crown of Tempests can be gained by opening exotic engrams as well as visiting Xur over the weekend.
4Transversive Steps
This is the first pair of exotic boots on this list because of how simple yet useful their ability is. This is the ideal support exotic for Warlocks who use the Well of Radiance super ability. Phoenix Protocol’s intrinsic perk,Battle Hearth, makes kills and assists you get while standing in your Well of Radiance return Super energy. This is perfect for raid encounters where keeping your team alive and killing enemies is needed.
It is also great for any high difficulty encounter like Grandmaster Nightfall Strikes and Dungeons. Phoenix Protocol can be acquired by opening exotic engrams as well as visiting Xur over the weekend if he’s selling it.
2Ophidian Aspect
These exotic gauntlets can be downright dirty if set up correctly. Thanks to their intrinsic perk,Cobra Totemic, Ophidian Aspect gives you the ability to ready and reload your weapons very quickly as well as having extended melee range.
