Death Stranding 2: On the Beach: How to Unlock Fast Travel
This guide explains how to unlock fast travel in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
So, to give you the same level of satisfaction that I felt by unlocking this gadget to listen to my favorite soundtracks from the game, continue reading this article, where I’ll explain how you can unlock and use the music player in Death Stranding 2.

How To Unlock The Music Player
you may unlock the Music Player during the 11th Major Order, in the second episode, where you’ll get to meet the Musician. It’s a little ways off, especially if you’re someone who’s just cleared the first episode and entered Australia to connect it to the network.
In this mission, the basic gist is that Tarman tasks Sam with delivering a mysterious recording to decipher from the Musician. But first, you’re going to have to clear an annoying obstacle before we march straight there—sabotaging a communications disruptor in a nearby Brigands' base.

It’s a beacon device in the base that’ll prevent us from putting the Musician onto the Chiral Network, so ensure you head here first, go in stealth like I did, or go guns blazing with your shotgun. It’s up to you, but we need to hack or destroy this disruptor to continue forward with the rest of the delivery.
Once you’ve taken out the Disruptor, you have free rein to go straight to the Musician on the north side of the region.Once you’ve reached the musician, AKA Gen Hoshino, turn in the Mysterious Recording package and complete the delivery, as well as get this new prepper on the Chiral Network.

You’ll likely unlock the MP Shotgun like me if you broughtsome extra lost cargofor him along the way. Most importantly, you’ll unlock the music player upon clearing this delivery, which can then be found in your Ring Terminal pause menu.

How To Use The Music Player & Get New Songs
With how many fans like me eagerly requested this feature in the original game, they’ve done an awesome job at finally implementing it for the sequel. The music player has almost every function of a typical in-real-life one, with the option to create three different playlists as well.
The music player tracks will pause momentarily during specific moments or situations in the game.

You can shuffle between tracks, skip forward or reverse for specific songs of your choosing from the tracklist, and even adjust the volumeso that you can at least chime in and hear anything important in the environment or dialogue from other NPCs.
The song options are also seemingly limitless here, especially after it grows extensively towards the end of the game. There are also some returning ones from Low Roar and CHVRCHES that fans of the first game will most likely recognize.
Lastly, you’ll get a ton of new songs frequently while playing through the game. I found a couple of new tracks from completing certain deliveries as rewards, and any music that plays during a key moment in the story will likely get added here for you to replay and listen to at your convenience.
