You’ll come to know the pattern of how these missions work by this point. You’re searching for someone probably already dead, and they just love to throw cryptic clues your way instead of just saying where they are.
Nadia’s Last Known Location
Nadia gives you a twist to the formula. She reported herself missing, so head over to the Metro and start your search for this self-proclaimed missing person.
Follow the spot above, and you’ll come toa door locked by a code-protected keypad.Next to the keypad is a journal entry you’ll need to grab a read to uncover the secret to getting behind the door.
This blood-stained piece of paper isNadia’s Map, and as she describes it herself in a note, the red X’s are where she’s painted a number that is part of the code to unlock the door.Unlike the other missing people, she was bitten early and decided to create this challenge for someone to come along and put her out of her misery, while also making sure she couldn’t hurt anybody. This map will match up almost perfectly with your map of the Metro, so it sounds like an easy challenge.
Code Number 0
As you could pick these numbers up in any order, they will be separated by the number that was painted. Nadia claims the code goes in sequential order, but your character will do this all for you so don’t worry about memorizing, only collecting. This first code number turns out to be a 0, and it’s juston the opposite end of the hallway you found the map on, so just turn around and run back.

Code Number 8
So the bit of Nadia’s map thatmatches up perfectly with the middle of the train yardwill likely throw you for a loop.It breaks the rule the other code numbers follow. 3 of the 4 numbers are painted on a wall, but as for the number in the train yard:
Step inside the train in the middle of the area, and then look straight up.Nadia painted this numberon the ceiling of the train, and it’s the number 8.
Code Number 2
Nadia painted the number 2in an alleyway corner around the bottom left of the Metro map.She painted it right next to some graffiti just in case you’d like another notable thing to look for. Only one piece of code left.
Code Number 6
Go left from the previous code number until you find this large room in the bottom left corner of the Metro map. This room is full of Zombies so be careful as you trench through it.There are a few walls in the area, and the one you’re looking for is this large wall near the entryway you would have taken if you came from the direction of code number 2. With this, you now have the entire code:0268, but remember you can’t just type this in as your character needs to find these. It’s not as if you get the chance to type the number regardless.
Fighting Nadia
Run back to the locked door to go unlock it. Just before you get the chance, Nadia will instead burst through the door and begin the fight. She’s a Screamer variant.Screamers are dangerous, but the scariest thing about them is that their wail can attract the other Zombies in the area. Not only that but since you’ll encounter Nadia around the end of the game or after, Screamers can awaken the transformation of Mutator Zombies.Nadia however will be tackling you alone. This makes her very open to ranged attacks,as if you can aim a headshot on a Screamer while they are screaming you can disorient them and leave them open for further attacks. If you don’t have a firearm or nail gun, you andrush up to Nadia while she’s Screaming and bash her with melee attacks, as the rule still applies.
Nadia’s Parting Gifts
Nadia will drop the generic Screamer loot when you kill her, including a Superior rank weapon. Then there’s the room she was hiding out in, and something easily missed isa journal entry named Hearing The Call. It’s nothing more than further backstory about what happened to her, but it’s part of this side quests journal entries list so be sure to pick it up.
Of more importance isNadia’s Thank You, which is 2 items, one a note and one a trunk of loot. The note will be a tearful thank you for ending her misery, and a reveal that the door code opens the trunk. The trunk will have your reward for finishing the quest.
