Fans of the horror genre are in for an exciting time today (June 15), as the officialDead By DaylightxResident Evilupdate will go live in a matter of hours.
The brand newDead By Daylightupdate will introduce two new survivors and one new killer, all of which are from the classicResident Evilfranchise that fans know and love.
This year will also markDead By Daylight’s5th Anniversary, and Behaviour Interactive is celebrating with a bang. For fans that might have missed it, the developers hosted a speciallivestreamto celebrate the games anniversary, make sure to check it out for all the big announcements.
The newDead By DaylightxResident Evilupdate will release at 8AM PT / 11AM ET / 4PM BST on June 15th. Whilst the DLC forResident Evilwill appear 1 hour after in storefronts.
On the official release notes, the developers noted that “While the characters will be available immediately through the in-game store, the DLC will release on storefronts shortly after.”
Players will likely be required to download a new patch before they can jump in and play the update.

So, what can fans expect from the newDead By Daylightupdate on June 15th?
As mentioned previously, the update will bring two new survivors and one new killer to the game. Jill Valentine and Leon S. Kennedy will debut inDead By Daylightas the two new survivors, whilst Nemesis is back to haunt everyone’s nightmares as the new killer.
