As a role-playing game,Cyberpunk 2077features a wide variety of builds and play styles depending on the player’s preference. Many will opt for the iconic stealth build, which works well in Cyberpunk 2077 with the right skills andweaponsselected to complement the play style. That said, there are a lot of unique stealth skills in Cyberpunk 2077, and choosing the best for each build may prove troublesome to newcomers.

Cyberpunk 2077 features countless stealth skills under the Cool Stat. By investing points into stealth, players will witness firsthand as their stealth effectiveness, mobility, and sneak attack damage increase with each new point invested. Furthermore, specific stealth skills even increase movement speed while sneaking and offer increased damage while utilizing suppressed weapons while sneaking. In the right hands, stealth perks become overpowered.

10Dagger Dealer

Dagger Dealer unlocks the ability to throw knives.A thrown knife will return to the player’s hand after 6 seconds or immediately upon pickup. Every increase in knife rarity will decrease the overall return time by 0.5 seconds. Furthermore, players can hold down the aim button to carefully aim a throwing knife, then press the fire button to release the weapon.

While not immensely useful compared to a suppressed sniper rifle or smartgun, Dagger Dealer adds another tool to the box for stealth players. A quick jab with a throwing knife, especially when paired with Cutthroat, can quickly take down formidable enemies without putting V in harm’s way.

9Strike From The Shadows

Strike From the Shadows increases the player’s critical hit chance by 7% while sneaking. Players opting for the best stealth skills in Cyberpunk 2077 will likely find themselves locked down in stealth throughout most of the game. That’s okay because with this passive skill, sneaking will also provide massive damage in the form of a crit shot.

But of course, there’s a downside. The critical hit chance only increases by 7%, a modest amount. If players have other skills that boost crit chance, or a weapon augmentation, that crit shot may hit more often than not. But, relying on that 7% chance can sometimes be a long shot.

8Crouching Tiger

Crouching Tiger increases overall movement speed while sneaking by 20%.A big part of stealth gameplay in Cyberpunk 2077 is moving quickly and making short work of enemies before the entire party notices something is amiss. As such, V needs to increase her movement speed while sneaking by putting points into Crouching Tiger, which is a helpful perk throughout the game.

For players who spend much time crouched and in cover, this passive skill will help traverse environments, move from shadow to shadow, and quickly close the distance with an enemy before landing a critical hit strike.

Cyberpunk 2077 Crouching Tiger Skill

Assassin will deal 15% more damage to human enemies. When most foes faced in Cyberpunk 2077 have blood running through their veins, a quick increase in damage against such enemies may prove to be one of the most useful passive skills in the game. 15% is not a small number. As the game progresses andnew weapons become available, that increase will only become more noticeable.

Unfortunately for this perk, humans are not the only enemy in Cyberpunk 2077; the occasional drone or robotic warrior can throw a hitch in the plan. When facing off against these types of enemies, a high-power sniper rifle or well-placed grenade will usually suffice.

The Sniper skill increases headshot damage outside of combat by 10/20%.When most think of a stealth build in a game like Cyberpunk 2077, they likely imagine swords, knives, chokeholds, and knockouts from behind. But, this is an RPG, and that means the iconic stealth “archer” build is in full effect. In this futuristic setting, however, the bow and arrow are replaced with a devastating sniper rifle that can fire through cover!

Cyberpunk 2077 Stealth Kill On Human Enemy

By pairing the Sniper skill witha high-tier sniper rifle, and before engaging in combat, players can land the first strike on a group of Kang Tao and leave the rest barreling for cover in confusion. Like a few other notable stealth skills on this list, however, Sniper is only helpful in specific combat situations. It’s suitable for the first shot in an encounter, then falls by the wayside.

5Cutthroat

Cutthroat increases melee damage dealt to target enemies by 40/80% for 6 seconds after striking them with a throwing knife. To fully realize the capabilities of Cutthroat, players will also require the previously mentioned Dagger Dealer perk, which unlocks the ability to throw a knife at enemies. This combo set of skills can make quick work of a solo enemy or distract a group with a surgical strike.

To effectively take down enemies using Cutthroat, ensure V is equipped with a high-damage katana. First, before breaking stealth, throw a knife at the closest enemy and charge headfirst with the sword for a strike. The increased melee damage will lead to one less foe on the field in seconds.

4Silent And Deadly

Silent and Deadly will increase all damage from suppressed weapons by 25% when sneaking. For a stealth build in Cyberpunk 2077, adding a silencer to any firearm, especially a high-powered pistol or fast-firing submachine gun, proves immensely useful. The combination of a suppressed shot and a high rate of fire can make quick work of any enemy, or even a small group, without so much as a drop of sweat.

The downside is that Silent and Deadly only works with suppressed weapons. As such, it’s pretty limited in scope. Fortunately, stealth players should have no issues keeping a suppressed weapon in their loadout.

Ghost increases overall detection time by a total of 20/40%.This passive skill may save more than a few stealth-build characters, especially new players who have yet to grasp the stealth and detection mechanics in Cyberpunk 2077 fully. By increasing the detection time, V can make the occasional mistake when infiltrating an enemy compound, for example, and still walk away clean without triggering alarms or reinforcements.

This is one skill that will prove helpful in countless situations. So long as the player takes their time, moves slowly, and plans their route with a little careful reconnaissance, then Ghost will work for the length of the campaign.

2Jeepers Creepers

Jeepers Creepers, an aptly named passive skill, increases damage dealt by melee weapons while in stealth by 100% and guarantees a Critical Hit.Is there anything cooler than playing as a street samurai build in Cyberpunk 2077? Running around with a katana is some of the most fun to be had in the game, and Jeepers Creepers makes the build ever more powerful.

The only notable downside, however, is that it only works while in stealth. Players cannot go full samurai and charge into battle with a war cry, then hope for the increased damage and critical hit chance. It only works when undetected.

1Restorative Shadows

Restorative Shadows increases Health regeneration by 25% while in stealth.Even while playing a carefully curated stealth build, something is bound to go wrong. Cyberpunk 2077 is a massive open world with countless enemies who each have their path, and sometimes the player may misstep and break stealth altogether. It happens!

When it does, and the ensuing shootout leaves V gasping for air, low on first aid, and desperately trying to survive, Restorative Shadows will save the day. By ducking back into cover and waiting while enemies lose line of sight, Restorative Shadows will kick in and start the healing process…albeit slowly.
