What Happened Previously On Chainsaw Man?
The Falling Devil and Denji’s battle persisted, with the former regenerating her wounds and delivering a powerful kick that sent the latter flying into a building. Despite the damage, she attempted to reason with him, promising to spare any human lives besides Asa’s and urging him to end the fight. However, Denji became more motivated to fight back, stating that she was harming her “ex-potential girlfriend.”
The Falling Devil halted Denji’s attack with just a finger, forcing him to relive the trauma of Aki’s and Power’s deaths as he fell through the sky. As Denji plummeted through the air, the Falling Devil prepared to pursue Asa. Denji, however, struck back and tore the Falling Devil in half. He revealed that he had disabled his cognitive functions by cutting up his own brain, making him impervious to mental attacks. Denji started to visualize the Falling Devil as a French corndog and consumed her.
While she allowed him to partially eat her, she eventually regenerated inside him, tearing him in half. Denji’s regenerative abilities reached their limit as he ran out of blood. After the battle, a mysterious figure appeared and healed Denji’s wounds with their blood. Meanwhile, the Falling Devil had found Asa, leaving her shocked and horrified.
