Call of Duty: Black Ops 6offers a solid multiplayer experience, although it’s easy to get left behind in an ever-shifting meta.
The KSV is a punchy SMG that can wreck enemies, provided you may close the distance. It’s also one of the first weapons you’ll unlock, making it superb for newcomers.
Unfortunately,the KSV kicks like a mulewithout attachments, and the iron sights are pretty unwieldy. We aim to fix these issues with this build, and the result is a deadly SMG you won’t want to put down.
Recommended Attachments for the KSV
The KSV is worth the effort to level up for its attachments. It’s also a weapon Ihighly recommend you combine with the Gunfighter Wild Card.
Gunfighter allows you to equip eight attachments instead of five, dramatically boosting the KSV versatility.
Here are the attachments, and you may ignore the last three if you prefer to use an alternativeWild Card:

you may use any Optic, but theKepler Microflexis unobtrusive and has a wide picture.
I love running a Suppressor on my builds, but as the KSV kicks so hard,I recommend the Compensator instead, as the 35% Vertical Recoil reduction is too good to pass up.
On that note, we use theVertical Foregripfor a 40% improvement in Horizontal Recoil, dramatically improving target acquisition.
TheLong Barrelis a great attachment as it pushes out the Damage Range in case you’re forced to duel with an Assault Rifle user.
TheErgonomic Grip and Balanced Stockimprove weapon handling and pair nicely with the Dexterity Perk, which I’ll cover later. We also useRecoil Springsfor even more Recoil Reduction.
Finally, we’re using anExtended Magas, let’s face it, we all miss far more than we would ever admit.
Sacrifices must be made if you’re not using Gunfighter, but the KSV still slaps if you play to its strengths.
If you stay close to your opponents, the weapon still works well without the Optic, Recoil Springs, and Balanced Stock.
Recommended Perks for the KSV
I usually go for blue perks with my Assault Rifle builds,like the XM4, but red options are better for an aggressive SMG playstyle, in my opinion. TheRecon Specialty has also received several nerfs, making the blue perks a little less desirable.
With this in mind, here’s what I recommend:
Perks/Specialty
Reduced weapon motion while diving, jumping and sliding. You also take less fall damage.
Enemies on a killstreak get a unique minimap icon and drop Bounty Packs when killed.
Double Time
Increases Tactical Sprint duration
Enforcer Specialty
Killing an enemy grants a temporary movement speed bonus and health regen.
Dexterity is an excellent Perk as it stops your weapon from jumping around so dramatically when you’re jumping and sliding around.
Honestly,Assassin is a nothing burgermost of the time, but it’s better than the alternative, Bruiser, which is melee-focused.
Double Time improves our Tactical Sprint distance, and the Enforcer Specialty gives some welcome buffs when we defeat a target.

Recommended Equipment for the KSV
You canuse any equipment you likewith the KSV, but here’s what I use, and this combo works great if you’re zipping around the map and constantly taking fights.
Sticky Grenade with preset fuse
Brief health regeneration and refreshes Tactical Sprint
Field Upgrade: Spring Mine
Deployable mine with proximity detonation.
TheStim Shotis a superb Tactical as it allows you to recover from damage faster. It’s important to note that the Shot doesn’t immediately restore your health, so you still need time before you reengage.
Semtexis a solid Lethal, especially if you’re mobile and don’t want to wait for Frag Grenades to cook. Finally, I enjoy theSpring Mine for free, cheeky kills, but you can always rock something like the Assault Pack if you prefer.
The KSV shreds in multiplayer, but if you decide to take on the undead, make sure you knowhow zombie perkswork.
