Actor Bradley Cooper’s poor luck at the Golden Globes continued this year when he failed to win a single award at the 81st Golden Globe Awards. Cooper was nominated in the Best Actor – Motion Picture Drama and Best Director – Motion Picture categories for his musical drama filmMaestro. However, Cooper lost both awards toOppenheimer.

To make matters worse, one of Downey’s high school friends, fellow actor Rob Lowe, accidentally texted Cooper about Downey’s victory and ended up trolling the actor. Rob Lowe Accidentally Texted Bradley Cooper and Trolled Him

Actor Rob Lowe first rose to prominence in the 80s, having debuted on television at the age of fifteen. Lowe soon became a teen idol and later established himself as a bonafide star in Hollywood with a string of successful films. Lowe is a childhood friend of actorRobert Downey Jr., and the two attended the Santa Monica High School, where they were classmates.

During a recent appearance onJimmy Kimmel Live, Lowe spoke about his friendship with Downey who recently won the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance inOppenheimer. However, Lowe shared a hilarious incident connected to Downey’s victory that inadvertently led to him trolling actorBradley Cooper.

In his conversation with Kimmel, Lowe revealed that he was trying to send a congratulatory text to his friend, Downey, for his win, but accidentally texted Cooper.

“I’m so excited for him, so I text him so glad you won. That is the most beautiful acceptance speech I have heard in a long time, boy, do you deserve it. I hit it and I realize oh I just sent that to Bradley Cooper.”

Lowe told the above incident to Kimmel, while the host chimed in with the fact that Cooper did not win at this year’s Golden Globes. Thus, Lowe while trying to congratulate his childhood friend accidentally ended up trolling Cooper.

Bradley Cooper Was Gracious About the Incident and Did Not Mind the Text

During the conversation, Lowe revealed that he had wrongly saved Cooper’s number, which led to the hilarious incident. Moreover, Lowe only realized his mistake after accidentally texting Cooper a second time. However, Lowe stated that Cooper was gracious about the incident and did not make a fuss about things despite not winning at this year’s Golden Globes.

“He said no no no it’s fine I like living vicariously through these mistakes.”

Lowe made the above comment recounting Cooper’s reaction to his mistake. Despite this, Cooper took Lowe’s accidental trolling quite sportingly. On the other hand, Lowe admitted that he felt terrible about the entire incident.
