The Two Blue Vortex’s story starts after the three-year time skip which featured a lot of changes that altered the storyline significantly. The biggest one was Boruto becoming much stronger than he was first seen.
Additionally, the one thing that hurt the fans most is the absence ofNarutofrom the story which although was shown before the time skip, the effect it had in the story was after the time skip. Fans miss the character as he was a major character at the beginning of the series and in a way, the series has been made possible because of him.
However, it looks like theBorutoanime and manga series is trying too hard to force fans into forgettingNaruto. This was reflected in the fact that one of the characters from the series: Mitsuki was seen using a technique in the latest chapter that had a huge impact onNaruto’slife. The technique in discussion is the Sage mode.

However, the recent chapters indicate that the series is trying to prove that the new characters are strong enough to replace even major characters likeNarutoin the series. While it’s a sad thing, it might be necessary to put the focus on the characters for whom the storyline was initially developed by the creators.
