The otakus can’t forget and will not leave a chance to laud the character, whom they consider to be one of the greatest protagonists in the history of the anime and manga industry.
As popular as the character and storyline of the title is, fans have demanded an anime adaptation that was true to the source material and closely followed every panel of the manga. Though an adaptation was made in 2016, it failed to recreate the same essence as the original work.

Some were so blinded by rage that they even actively hoped that the alternate ending would get bombed with negative reviews on social media. The fans commented,
Sorry, but I doubt this will ever become official. You guys aren’t a proper studio, just scattered artists. Anime studios hire freelancers, but rely on full-timers. Plus, Japanese companies are nationalistic and prefer giving IPs to local studios to work on.
beserk fan project got also canceled in the last moment
I hope you get copyright striked. Adapting a terrible fanfic made my people who never understood the story, it’s characters or the ending in the first place is such a shitty idea. Genuinely, what a waste of talent.
The Black Swordsman Need to come back!
I really hope the Black Swordsman anime will have this kind of dedication and talent behind it. We Berserk fans have been starved for good news for too long.pic.twitter.com/XcRrD02oNO
