Contrary to tradition, pre-ordering the game won’t give you early access,but signing up for EA Play Pro will.

EA is aware that loads of people are looking forward to the beta, and has decided to do something about it, though I’m not sure if it’ll be enough.
Battlefield 6 Early Access Codes Being Given Away From Today To Beta Start
EA has given out a set of codes (pictured above) that I’m 100% sure are already taken by the time you read this. According to EA, they will be handing them out at “random intervals,” which will be shared via the officialBattlefield Comms X account(formerly Twitter), and even on the game’sDiscord channel.
Gamers hoping to obtain a code will need to be vigilant, as these codes are undoubtedly in high demand right now. That said, if you don’t get one, the beta will be open for everyone starting August 9, though that means you’ll have two fewer days to rank up, test the weapons, combat feel, and the like.
When it comes to the beta,players can expect it to support keyboard and mouse controls on consoles, marking a first for the franchise. Just remember that you’ll likely be matched against PC players.
Xbox Owners Can Get Battlefield 6 At A Discount
If you like what you’ll see in the beta this weekend, here’s a chance to get the game at a discount.
So far, so good. EA and DICE seem to be hitting all the right notes with Battlefield 6. Not only did EA not raise the price of the game, but DICE has even commented on cosmetics, and have assuaged fears that we’ll be seeing anime and celebrities in the game, as the studiowants to keep a more grounded approach to character skins.
In the final game,expect 40+ weapons in total, though that number will be greatly reduced in the beta, which is understandable. Weapons, maps, and more features will be scaled back in the beta, so there’s a lot to look forward to when the full game releases on October 10 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
