Once you reach the fourth story island, Caravan Island, you can finally recharge those batteries. After completing certain steps, of course. Make sure to stock up on wood and food before dropping anchor, as there is much to accomplish here. Upon reaching Caravan Island, you will quickly discover, scattered around the island, pieces for a machine called theBattery Charger. This device will be crucial to your progression across the seas, so make sure to grab all three parts. Here’s where they’re found, how to craft the item itself and how to make yourself another prerequisite, the Zipline Tool.
Battery Charger Part One
The first part can be found on thedocks, where you will probably first touch ground. It islaying conveniently beneath a green canopynext to yellow and blue plastic objects.
Battery Charger Part Two
The second piece will require some climbing. The docks where the previous part is found can be seen in the top left of the picture. Starting from below, you must scale the buildings until reaching the spire where the second piece is found. As it is on the roof of a building, it may be difficult to spot, so make sure tokeep an eye out for the ladder leading to the roof.
Battery Charger Part Three
Caravan Island can be quite disorienting when you first arrive, but a fantastic landmark to note is the tower with a flag (seen on the right side of the image). This tower contains several notebook scraps, so you will surely stop there again during your exploration. Once there, simply cross to the nearby pillar and scale to the top.Thefinal part can be found at the peak, resting between three containers.

The Zipline Tool
Though you have collected all three parts, you still need to assemble them into a blueprint.Doing so will first require completing another important item found on Caravan Island, the Zipline Tool. Like the Charger, the Zipline Tool requires three parts to assemble, so hold tight.
Zipline Tool Part One
While exploring the island, you will notice aseries of pipes heading down the mountain. Following them will lead you to a well, which contains the first piece. To get it out of the well, simplyfollow the pipeline and align itto allow the water to flow naturally into the well, flooding it and spitting out your quarry.
Zipline Tool Part Two
Near the base of the central tower on the island, you will notice a bicycle pump connected to a tube heading deep underwater. The second part is found at the end of this long swim, so top up your food and health and get ready for a dive. On the way down, you will find occasional spots to resurface and catch your breath, so take advantage of them. Once you reach the bottom, grab the piece and retrace your steps back to the surface.
Zipline Tool Part Three
Around the island in the shallows, you will notice angry yellow fish known aspoison puffers.Killing these, while keeping a safe distance, will provide you with 1-2 Explosive Goo. Simply plop thisinto the Smelterto obtain a batch ofExplosive Powder. This can be researched in the table, but hold onto at least one to collect the last piece for your Zipline Tool.
With the powder in hand, head to the hill where you probably noticed an object shaped like an escape pod. After providing the object with a piece of explosive power, you will see it launch into the air and land on a nearby island.Head over to where it landed to collect your final piece.

Major Tom, one of several decoration items in thistricky survival title, is also found here.
Assembling The Zipline Tool
Once you’ve collected all three Zipline Tool parts, head to theroom at the top of the central towerto assemble your prize. No materials are needed other than the previously obtained parts, so justinteract with the crafting tableand you will receive the Zipline Tool and blueprint.

Assembling The Battery Charger
After collecting all three parts for the Charger, you will need tohead to the mayor’s house to assemble the blueprint. This will require the Zipline Tool, so make sure to finish that before proceeding. Once you’ve arrived at the mayor’s house, simply head inside and interact withthe table full of scrap. Doing so will reward you with the blueprint for the Battery Charger. Merely having the blueprint in your inventory will unlock the recipe for the Charger, so you do not necessarily need to keep the blueprint itself. However, it is an item that cannot be found again duringthis gripping adventure, so if you are a collector or completionist you may want to hang onto it.
Assembling the Battery Charger will require these ingredients:
Circuit Board
Titanium Ingots
Finally, you can recharge those pesky batteries, and begin using the Receiver to discover all that Raft has to offer.
