The game has a living and breathing world, full of characters who will see and react to the various things you do, including murder. Should you get a little too eager for bloodshed and start going on several killing sprees, eventually your reputation will precede you.

One of the ways the game helps with this is the Enemy of Justice debuff that many players have gotten placed on their character. This debuffmakes the game a lot more complicatedand is not recommended unless it is a vital part of your playstyle. But it’s important to at least know what the debuff is and how you can get it in the game.
Enemy Of Justice Explained
At the heart of it, the Enemy of Justice debuff is between you and any law enforcement you come across in the game. Essentially, the debuff will cause you to become infamous, and once you have reached that level to be given the label,you will be hunted by the law. This means that if a character you come across is a guard or any kind of law enforcement, there will be no conversation or interaction. They willattack on sight, and you will have to fight them or flee.
Now, it’s not necessarily easy to get this debuff, as it really takes a commitment to killing, and requires there to be a witness to the crime. You see, when you go on frequent killing sprees, you have towatch out for any other NPC’s that see itand will flee to tell the guards. Once they reach the guards, you will be given the debuff and it’s permanent.
There is no way to rid your character of the debuffonce you have been given it, you can only avoid it. You can do so by doing the following:
It’s apretty significant debuff, and can really make the game more difficult with every single member of the law coming after you instantly.It just isn’t a viable optionfor the game, unless you are trying to roleplay a character that is a mass murderer. But if you are not playing as that kind of character, then you probably don’t have to worry as it would take a lot of killing to get the debuff and ruin your playthrough. Just play normally, and you shouldn’t have to worry about the Enemy of Justice at all.
