The objective of Sarentu Totems is to find andlocate a small wooden circle on the ground, stand within it, and observe the Totem from a specific angle.To do this, players will first need toapproach the Totem and find the first nearby wooden circle.These are small woven-together sticks that will havegrass and flowers growing on them, along with a painted piece of cloth.
That painted piece of cloth is anarrow, indicating which direction players will need to go.It’s best to go in astraight line from the cloth arrow, as the next similar wooden circle won’t be located with your Na’vi sense.Players will need tofollow these arrows from one to the next until they eventually find the final wooden circle with no arrow,which can be located with the Na’vi sense once close enough.Stand within the circle and press the corresponding button to observe the Totemandcomplete the task.

Sarentu Totems areobserved from whatever angle shows the open circle with the central sphere within.Playersdon’t need to find and follow every arrowand will only need to find the final observation point to complete the Totem. Using some guessing, players can try tofigure out where the last circle is and go straight thereinstead of following the various cloth circles to a far-off distance only to circle back.
Should players not find the final circle and instead find another cloth arrow, they can simplypick up from there and skip the first few.This is a possible way to speed up the process, butsome observation locations can be a fair way away from the Totem,making it sometimes challenging to skip the first few steps andget back to the main story.
