Beyond all the collectibles present inAstro Bot’snumerous levels that totally are of a number greater than 300, there are also secrets to discover, such as the levels that belong to Lost Galaxy. As you progress through the various stages, you can unlock certain portals to access these levels.
One distinctive feature of these levels is that most of them have comparatively fewer collectibles to find compared to other stages. This is a guide to finding all the Light Bulb Limbo collectible locations. This level has a total of seven collectibles.
Light Bulb Limbo Collectible Locations: Bot 1
To get through this level, you’ll need to carry a small light bulb to illuminate hidden platforms, which will reveal all kinds of secrets.
Astro Bot: Boing! Bonanza Collectible Locations
As you follow the main path of the level, you’ll find a bot that appears to be floating but is actually on a platform, scared because it doesn’t know how to get down.
Using the light from the bulb as a guide, you’ll step onto the platform and rescue the first of the five available bots in Light Bulb Limbo’s collectibles. This is just one of the numerouslevels inAstro Bot’sLost Galaxy.
As you continue through the level, you’ll need to keep using the light bulb to reveal all the floating invisible platforms. At one point, you’ll encounter an enemy with electrified cable hair, and you’ll need to jump and destroy it.
Even before you defeat this enemy, a bot will be visible from a distance, waiting for your rescue. Despite the numerous hidden platforms, this level is a breeze to complete if you pay enough attention.
Bot 3 (Dante Bot)
Continuing along the main path, you’ll reach a checkpoint where a platform lies ahead. If you turn slightly to the left, you’ll see an invisible platform that rises and falls, which only becomes visible when illuminated.
Astro Bot: Luna Sola Collectible Locations
After lighting up and climbing these two platforms, you’ll see a bot that references one of Capcom’s most iconic characters, Dante from the popularDevil May Cryfranchise. This will be the third of the five bots in the Light Bulb Limbo section ofAstro Bot.
Bot 4 (Kain Bot)
Returning to the main path to the right, you’ll follow a platform until you reach another checkpoint.
There is a cable to pull, which will reveal another light bulb. If you turn slightly to the left before continuing straight through the level, you’ll see a statue with a symbol indicating you can throw the light bulb at it. You’ll activate a mechanism that raises a closed coffin by throwing the bulb.
The fourth of the five bots in this level will emerge after hitting the coffin. Kain, one of the main characters fromLegacy of Kain, also gets a reference inAstro Bot.
Puzzle Piece 1
After saving Kain from the coffin, you’ll continue along the main path and reveal several platforms using the light bulb. If you turn slightly to the right, you’ll see a more distant platform, and you’ll need to jump to find the first of the two puzzle pieces in this level.
You’ll need to jump as high as you may to illuminate as much of the area as possible, see where the platform is, and land on it to grab the piece.
Puzzle Piece 2
The bot that references Raziel fromLegacy of Kainis near the end of the level, seemingly ready for rescue. However, as you approach with the light bulb, you’ll notice that the platforms surrounding him prevent you from saving him.
Once you’ve illuminated them, head right for more platforms. Before completing the entire circuit on the right, you’ll notice a stone platform to the left that you’ll need to jump onto. Once there, you’ll throw the light bulb at a moving statue to activate the last puzzle piece in the level.
Bot 5 (Raziel Bot)
After grabbing the second puzzle piece, you’ll return to the platform path and head to the left. Continue climbing until you reach a high point, from which you can descend into the platform cage that traps Raziel.
To jump and rescue this bot, you’ll need to throw the light bulb at a ghost before reaching that spot.Legacy of Kainis one of the most beloved cult video game series, and PlayStation is one of its biggest showcases.
