Twitter has been abuzz with discussions surrounding PlatinumGames' latest IPAstral Chain, which launches today for Nintendo Switch. To celebrate, two character designers Takahisa Taura (fromNieR:Automata) and Mari Shimazaki (fromBayonetta,Bayonetta 2) have taken to the social media site and posted some lovely fanart for the game.The first piece we see is a quick draw from Taura on Nintendo America’sofficial Twitter, a cute rendition of the police force’s mascot character Lappy. Along with the brief clip he also shares what he enjoys the most about the game:
Next we have Shimazaki’s fanart, posted on the official PlatinumGamesTwitter account. It depicts the twin protagonists and a very happyBayonettaposing alongside them (more like posing with themaletwin but still). It’s a fun way to wish a good release forAstral Chain:

Astral ChainâsÂprotagonists are part of a police force named Neuron. This means that not only must players deal with Chimera-related incidents, but you also need to doÂpolice work. The protagonist can control five different Legion with each one havingÂtheir own specifications. Thereâs also a beginnersâ mode and activating this mode allows players to automatize various actions, making gameplay much easier.
Astral Chain isnât the first part of a trilogy unlike what wasÂrecently reported.
