The Zanj Uprising Outfit is one of the earliest Outifts players can obtain in the game. Finding it is a matter of solving a few puzzles and sneaking past guards to obtain the reward at the end.
How To Unlock The Zanj Uprising Outfit
Like all outfits in AC Mirage, theZanj Uprising Outfit has three Gear Chestsdedicated to it.Finding any one of these chests will reward you with the base outfit, and looting the other two will give you itstwo upgrade schematics. Here are the locations of the three Gear Chests.
Gear Chest 1: Harbiya, Upper Harbor
The first chest is obtained by visiting theUpper Harbor. You’ll visit this location during the main mission tosave Beshi’s rebelsfrom the authorities. Make your way to the docked ship, and you’ll see aroom with some scaffolding blockingthe way. UseEagle Visionto see the Gear Chest inside.
To get to the chest, you will have to solve a short puzzle to move the scaffolding out of the way. Here is how to enter.
Gear Chest 2: Harbiya, Khurasan Gate Guardhouse
The second chest is at theKhurasan Gate Guardhouse, another location you’ll have to visit while you are solving the Ali ibn Muhammad case. To find the Gear Chest, head to the top of the Guardhouse and take out the two guards. You’ll see alarge canopy with some scaffolding blocking the entrance. This is the puzzle you need to solve to get to the Upgrade Schematic.
Gear Chest 3: Harbiyah, Prince’s Palace
The last Gear Chest for the Zanj Uprising Outfit is at thePrince’s Palace, near the eastern border of Harbiyah just across from the Gatehouse. This Gear Chest is the easiest to find as it is only protected by the Guards, and there isno puzzle to solve. Here is how to get to it.

How Good Is the Zanj Uprising Outfit
The Zanj Uprising outfitreduces the increase inNotorietyBasimgets when he is seen committing crimes out in the open. This meansless punishment for fighting guards out in the open, pickpocketing in plain view, and assassinating targetswhere people can see you.

Some missions can only be completed by emerging from the shadows and delivering the final blow in a crowd or looting a valuable in the middle of a party and running away. For these scenarios, the Zanj Uprising Outfit is incredible. But if you’re planning a run where you never plan on being seen, something like theHidden One Outfitmight serve you better.
