Having methods of dealing out damage outside a primary fire is very important in games, in both delivering a tactical element to combat and having a sense of variety to keep players invested in what is going on.

Armored Core 6 uses Back Weapons to accomplish this feat. While your arms carry the weapons you will be using for the bulk of your combat, pulling out a back weapon can deliver incredibly hard-hitting attacks, or deploying a shield for protection. This isjust one of the game’s aspectsyou should be aware of.
10VE-61PSA
The VE-61PSA is for players that find themselves taking more damage than they would like to, or keep falling short of completing missions due to the amount of damage they take. This will deploy a pulse scutum that will protect the player by mitigating some of the damage and dampening the impact.
What puts this, and pretty much all shields, so low on this list is that a powerfulboostercan allow you to dodge out of the way of incoming damage and let you use this back weapon space for more damage output instead. Shields like this means you won’t need to worry about whichFCSyou have equipped.

9KRANICH/60Z
This weapon ultimately falls flat but is worth trying out just for the experience. It fires a volley of energy bubbles. This weapon’s projectile speed is a lot slower than the top contenders on this list and if you have not locked on your targets, it is unlikely they will deal anywhere near the damage others could.
However, it is fun to try out. Do yourself a favor and just play around with this for the enjoyment if can bring before upgrading to something more devastating.

8SB-033M MORLEY
This is a powerful spread bazooka — think of it like a shotgun filled with rockets. This back weapon will fire out a spread of rockets that will explode on impact with any enemies that are in their trajectory.

The weapon may take some time to aim, making timing an important factor, but once it fires, the rockets travel at a pretty decent speed. This weapon has an attack power of 1360, an impact of 1450, 20 total rounds, a weight of 8480, and an EN Load of 465.
Just like the previous entry, this weapon takes some time to deploy, and timing it will be key. This weapon is a grenade canon, and it will fire only a single shot, so make it count. Once it hits its target, you will see a significantly larger explosion than the spread bazooka.

It has a higher attack power and impact than the MORLEY, but also a lower weight and EN Load. Making it the clear winner if you’re able to land every hit. This weapon has an attack power of 2098, an impact of 1455, 16 total rounds, a weight of 7230, and an EN Load of 388.
6BML-G2/P05MLT-10
Fire a blast of several rockets at a single target, or lock onto several targets to have the rockets find their way to destroying several enemies at once. This weapon will fire off multiple times after pulling the trigger. Dispensing more and more rockets as it does.
This can take some getting used to, but once you have the feel down, this weapon can take out large numbers of enemies with ease. This weapon has an attack power of 103x10, an impact of 72x10, 300 total rounds, a weight of 5220, and an EN Load of 320.

If you have been using spread bazookas and grenade cannons up to this point, then you can be caught off guard by just how fast his weapon will drop and take a shot. It fires off a blast of blue energy that can quickly drop weaker enemies out of the sky.
Holding down the charge will have it continuously build up power and then release an amplified beam of energy for maximum damage against tougher foes. This weapon has an attack power of 925, an impact of 500, 32 total rounds, a weight of 5190, and an EN Load of 683.
4SONGBIRDS
This is a Grenade Cannon just like EARSHOT. It has less of a wait before it is ready to fire off, making it a lot more forgiving. It will then fire off two shots instead of just one. The biggest pro to SONGBIRDS over EARSHOT is that it can hold 42 rounds.

This lets it contribute more damage over the course of the mission. This weapon has an attack power of 754x2, an impact of 754x2, 42 total rounds, a weight of 5500, and an EN Load of 285.
3BML-G1/P07VTC-12
If you do not like waiting before the weapon fires, this is your go-to missile launcher of choice. This weapon will eject a barrage of missiles straight into the air from your back. Allowing you to keep moving and firing away with your primary weapons as the aftermath comes raining down on your enemies from the sky.
This weapon has an attack power of 124x12, an impact of 89x12, 360 total rounds, a weight of 5010, and an EN Load of 525.
2FASAN/60E
This is a plasma cannon, and it fundamentally works in the same way you use a laser cannon — which is what the VP-60LCS is. This weapon will fire out a blazing volley of purple energy with an uncharged shot. However, charging it creates a sparking sphere of destruction.
Its overall performance makes it one of the best weapons around for all-purpose use. This weapon has an attack power of 1560, an impact of 840, 39 total rounds, a weight of 6270and an EN Load of 882.
Shields will impede you from dealing out larger amounts of damage, and if this fundamental fact is annoying you, then turn your attention to the VE-60SNA. This Stun Needle Launcher will fire out an electrified needle that will tear through Coral Shields and then create a powerful discharge at its point of impact. This can turn enemies that would soak up a lot of damage into scrap after one shot.
You will be able to clear missions in a significantly shorter time thanks to this weapon’s shield-shredding properties. This weapon has an attack power of 1088, an impact of 907, 30 total rounds, a weight of 6150and an EN Load of 825.
