In the latestCommunity Crunch postbyStudio Wildcard, the studio confirmed that the upcomingArk: Survival AscendedDLC, The Center, has been delayed. Thankfully, fans will only have to wait an extra 24 hours for its release.
“The Center is coming along nicely and will indeed be ready for launch at the beginning of June,” Studio Wildcard said earlier today. “To ensure a smooth rollout though, the release date has been adjusted by one day to June 4th.” It’s unclear why, exactly, Studio Wildcard has opted to delay the release by one day, but at least the delay is minimal.

Creative Assembly Reportedly Working On A Total War: Star Wars Game
A reliable source has told DualShockers that one of three new Total War games in development will be Star Wars-themed.
This marks the second delay for The Center, as it was originally intended to launch back in February. Just days before its release, Studio Wildcard confirmed it would be delaying the DLC indefinitely. “We’ve made the decision to postpone the Center as it wasn’t on track to launch with the level of quality we require,” the studio said in aCommunity Crunch postearlier this year.

Ark: Survival Ascended, which is an Unreal Engine 5 remaster of Ark: Survival Evolved, hasseen nothing but controversies and delayssince its announcement and subsequent release last October. Currently, Ascended has a “mixed” review badgeon Steam, with many citing performance issues as the reason for their negative reviews. One user evenreferred to Ascended as “cash grab"by Studio Wildcard.
After once again receiving delays, Studio Wildcard release the first piece of DLC for Ark: Survival Ascended back in April: Scorched Earth. Unfortunately, this release was once again met with a plethora of negative reviews, mainly due to poor performance. “Almost unplayable with how much it lags and stutters,“one usersaid, whileanother said, “I love this map but I literally get 10 fps on it so it’s unplayable.”

Hopefully Ascended’s next DLC, The Center, which is now due to launch on June 4th, comes with better optimization than what is seen in the base game and previous DLC.
