UPDATE:According to the Rockstar Games website, all services should now be restored and GTA Online should be fully functional once again.
ORIGINAL STORY:In short, yes,GTA Onlineis experiencing server issues across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, meaning the servers are in fact down.
If you’re unable to connect toGTA Onlineright now, there’s no need to worry as this is a worldwide issue and isn’t a problem with your internet connection or game.
The outage began at around 7AM BST, and with the latest weekly update going live later today, fans are eager to know what has caused the outage and when they’ll be able to jump into the new update.
Unfortunately,Rockstar Gamesare yet to comment on the server outage but their officialServer Status websitehas been updated to acknowledge the issue.
Of course, although no comment has arrived from Rockstar Games, you can expect the developers to be working flat out to resolve the issue. It’s not currently known how long the servers will be down for, but these issues don’t usually last more than a few hours.
