Apex Legendsplayers have had a rough start to Season 22 with many issues from Battle Pass to Ranked being completely broken. And while Respawn Entertainment has rolled out patches addressing some of the issues, Ranked play remains broken.

One of the biggest problems that the new update brought is the sudden and early reset of the Ranked split. This has left the community in an uproar. A new update made the mode playable again but players still haven’t gotten their ranks reinstated.

The update on August 13 included fixes for issues like Ballistic’s abilities causing crashes, players losing mouse input, and the “Training” button malfunctioning for new players. However, the issue of Ranked mode was not addressed. This has since been fixed now as Respawn quickly added another update.

While the developer has acknowledged the problem and promised a fix, many players feel that their responses have been too slow and lack the transparency needed to reassure the community.
With Ranked being such a core part of theApex Legendsexperience, especially for competitive players, its absence left a big void in the game. Much of the game’s player base now is probably the veterans and long-time ranked grinders so the situation was especially troublesome.
